I hear that they are changing the theme of mulholland madness to goofy's sky school. Lol I was at disneyland+california adventure yesterday and mulholland madness broke down! Also I was in the front row of screamin' and they did the countdown but the train didn't launch. they did the countdown again though and it was fine. CA Screamin' FTW!

OMG! Great filming and editing. this ride is soooooooooo awsome but now they don't have the mickey loop its just a sun but it would be weird if 2 giant mickey's were next to each other cause mickey's fun wheel. Silly symphany swings opened :) Im goin next Sunday!

Too the people down there who slammed Disney, you are so right, Disney sucks, that explains why Six Flags is building a new park in Shanghai and Disney is in danger of closing several of it's parks....oh wait. Got that backwards. Six Flags can only compete on cheap thrills that entertain the people who otherwise can't afford to go to Disney Parks.

sorry about that! :)Do you know about the problem DCA apparently has about not reaching the guests well and poor attendance or something? Well, they want to make DCA more DISNEY because they want more people to go there, so i am guessing that that's why they changed the name of MM. And the Sun Wheel is currently being worked on to take down the suns face and put up Mickey's head and rename it "Mickey's Fun Wheel" and i agree with you about the ideas running out. They can do ALOT better! :) :)

(continued...) I was thinking they could call it 'Pixarville' and have the entrance to the land duplicated like the main entrance to the Pixar studios lot in Emeryville, CA. At least it would be California-themed, and not contrasting away from the park's original aspect.

*Oh, and to Disney imagineers: How bout making an earthquake-based attraction where passengers ride on top of a collapsing replica of the Golden Gate bridge?? It would be California-themed AND it would be scary too! :)

I also read that they're gonna open a new themed land called 'Carsland' and are building a new ride based on the Pixar movie, Cars. Why won't they just create a whole new land themed to everything Pixar-based instead of making everything scattered throughout the park? I know it takes time, money & effort, but hell, BE CREATIVE at least.

Why the hell are they removing the Maliboomer??? That's like one of the coolest rides in the park imo! Also, I think them changing the name of Mulholland Madness to Goofy's Sky School is stupid! What the hell does THAT have to do with anything California-themed?? Either Disney imagineers are running out of creative ideas to tie-in with the park's main California-based theme, or they are spending way too much time trying to make newer attractions seem 'cool' to all the younger guests.

Maliboomer is leaving mainly because there is a better and very high themed version of Maliboomer across the park called Tower of Terror. Also it is an eye sore and would not fit in with the new theme for the pier. And it is rumored that the "California" theme will leave the park by 2012 when the new entrance plaza opens up.

Goofys Sky School is most likely a temporary thing until Disney can get a budget for a E ticket attraction in that area. Don't expect it to stay past 2015.

I remember two years ago when I went to Disney Land. We were heading for the California Sreamin' when we decided to watch them blast off. As they were going up the first hill of the ride, all of the sudden it just stopped. You could see them all bang their heads as it stopped. They were stuck up there for about ten minutes or so.

They will remove the Mickey Mouse silhouette and replace it with a Paradise Pier Billboard.

Also the queue line will be re themed to fit in with the rest of Paradise Pier.

Why would a beer garden send a wrong message?

DCA has served alcoholic drinks since opening and nothing has happened.
