i have no doubt Steve would have gone on to have a rennaisance if he'd lived longer - the 90's and the britpop bands would have championed him and he would have had all the recognition that he deserved.

Great interview. I only known Marriott from Humble Pie, but what a performer he was. He OWNED that stage. After reading all about him on Wikpidia, & looking up all his works, it's such a shame he never got the fame & money he deserved, but for him, I don't think it was ever about the fame or the money. The guy was just PURE GOLD & a rare talent. RIP
