All C&C games are amazing (even the old one made from westwood)But im not realy into the design/game play of RA3 yet since it changes so fast and everything gets sooo much complicated and harder (sometimes cheaper) But i would give RA3 like 4.5/5 for the great work thats been done on it. They made 2 disks because at that time there weren't any DVDs and 700MB were not enough , so instead of 2 CDs one full one half empty , they made that bouth be executable installers , Anyway I downloaded both of the CD isos provided by EA because they released CnC3 , and while GDI CD data are intact and in perfect condition , the Nod disk can't even be used to install the game the NOD disk is Crrupted or something , I tryed it on 3 different PCs and I downloaded it 2-3 times from diff sites :(

They stored all the cutscenes on the discs in the original release. People played the games on computers that were really bad HHD-size wise so I guess it was a natural decision.

Still, they could have asked you to insert the other disc.

did you try making the computer run the game in compatibility mode with windows (98/2000) ? "(right click => properties => compatibility =. "run program in compatability mode with etc... )" that should work with most incompatable / old games on newer programs .
