Miniature war gaming is a very patience driven hobby, as you can see the space marine is shorter than his small finger, and a hive tyrant is only a bout 3 and a half to 5 inches tall depending on posing, and the attention to detail he exerts when painting these small miniatures is exquisite, and the smallest Ive seen a miniature go is a Necron scarab being literally centimeter in length and width and millimeters of thickness.

Not always, Some have a red trim, some are all white, I can never remember why, thinks its company specific, like scouts not having the yellow stripe on their symbols, and Apoth's being in Red.

White scars are a codex chapter so the red trim means its from the 3rd Company/brotherhood.

Just white is there Pre HH colours and chapter colours.

The Paint job looked clean and safe. I guess this is meant for beginners. I prefer them to look rough and veteran like look. I am currently painting White S and they look mean... like they mean business and crazy wild!

My bone painting technique is basecoat it in graveyard earth wait for it to completley dry drybrush it in blached bone wait to dry the do a light drybrush of skull white this sort of dirty effect looks great on skull trophies or vampire count models

Can't say the colors here as that's part of the DVD. I will tell you that I used varying shades of blue and white to achieve the overall effect.
