dick johnson had a small run of turbo xe's in the 80's used to have about 200kw atw (dont quote me) but super rare if you can find one.

Ah yeah but they only had like 150 kilowatts, I have the wheels magazine from whenever they came out somewhere. They ran an HKS turbo.

Hmm, pretty sweet!!!! I'm guessing that's the 4.1 litre alloy head straight six. But awsome cars man & 348kW, you'll eat any V8 for breakfast, kill the new FG Typhoon & keep pace with a Supercharged Shelby Mustang!!! I want one now & I'm a Holden man. But did the XE's come in turbocharged version? Because I saw one on Carpoint & it said it had a stock turbo. But I know the Brock EA's were going to be turbocharged, but it was just going to be plain lethal!!!

The motor has a 265 hemi bottom end for strength, because the torque is in the region of 1300Nm at the wheels. 4.1 crossflows are simple but deadly with a LPG turbo setup

So are you the guy that built/own this car? My missus (of all people) found it, as I had an XE at the time, and she recognised that... I was sure the write up (by a journo, not you) said that he thought it was stock, I stand corrected =) Regardless, that is fricken sick!!! Sh*t hot!!

The stock 250 crank is offset ground to suit 265 hemi rods which are thicker and stronger. Makes the engine able to take much more torque. And no i dont own this car, its famous in the falcon community. Very nice car

Yup, according to the write up, other than garrett T66 and international truck intercooler, completely stock!! Runs on LPG (propane) which when added to high compression gives 103 octane, the owner says it's his daily driver!! haha
