Zero mission was a gud remake of the first classic, me and my younger bro played this bk2bk, I played this version, and my bro played the original downloaded onto his Gameboy. And we helped each-other through it, was really interesting comparing them, and seeing how they neatedend things up without really changing anything. Wish they wud re-do Metroid 2 the same way and release that on the 3DS now.

When I was young on car journeys I'd just go on the sound test , put this on , have the gameboy right next to my ear and enjoy the epicness.

Plus , it's probably universally decided that this ridley take definitely has the best 2nd sequence. That being the sequence at 1:34.

mecha ridley (or ridley robot) was an android created in Ridley's likeness, with some of his intelligience downloaded into it.

Meta Ridley is the actual Ridley with cybernetic enhansments, and Omega Ridley is Meta Ridley with upgrades

Ridley sorta is like a car. He gets damaged, & the pirates simply upgrade him, or revive him, Samus blows him to bits, & the whole cycle repeats.

Space Pirates made Mecha Ridley, then in the next game (according to the timeline) they made Meta Ridley. Then in Metroid Prime 3 Omega Ridley (Not confirmed if created by Space Pirates).

Meta Ridley was chosen as a guardian to the phazon seed on whatever planet it was again, so Omega Ridley was born. Some fans speculate that after Omega Ridley was defeated, phazon infused him and regenerated all of his damaged tissue, giving reason why Ridley is organic in all the games after the Prime Trilogy.
