  • That's just gone on my things to do next time go to London

  • how come the automated announcement for the current station is played after the doors open...wouldn't it make more sense to play it before so ppl can be ready?

  • Now how long will that interior stay white???

  • This looks like a 1992 stock from a point

    1996 stock remains my favourite

  • for some reason, I like the Bombardier AC traction noise more then the Alstom ONYX AC traction. You can hear the switching better.

  • i love the sound of this train!!(:

  • S stock's Sister 2009 stock train.

  • She a Female 2009 stock train and thats S stock's sister fighting each other.

  • this must be faster than the central line now usally central line is fast but this must be faster :D

  • rare sight victoria line train empty lol

  • Sounds alot more cheerful. There doesn't seem to be enough holdy things ...

  • Is that horrid klaxon going to sound every time the doors open? Don't think that's necessary at all. Apart from that, liking the look of them, very fast and smooth. Wonder how long they'll stay that way though.

  • The sound when the doors open is for the visually impaired, so they know when the doors open and thus when to get off.

  • I think the 67 stock should go to Island Line at least they would still be running!

  • Some of the 67 stock are actually being moved to the Bakerloo Line and used there. The rest, I should imagine would be scraped.

  • Horrid. But you still get that classic "wheel against rail" snagging sound that you tend to get from 7 Sisters to Kings X.....Wonder when the 67' stock is going for good?

  • I love the new vicky line 2009 stock!!!

  • I'm not normally a fan of modern(post 1992) tube and train stock. But this new tube stock doesn't look too bad atall. And looks as though it will be quite fun to travel aboard. I love the sound of the electric motor and the acceleration speed.

That said, I'll still the miss the old 1967 Victoria Line stock when it goes.

  • My god, she accelerates like a car!

  • nice noise it makes when moving off

  • This train has some serious torque on it like the 92 stock. It goes off the mark like a rocket and stop on a penny.

  • Good idea! We'll keep trains that are nearly 50 years old on the Underground to please loony trainspotters. After all, the tube isn't for getting people from A to B efficiently, it's all about keeping it as a museum to please a very, very, small minority.

  • Great Video. The 2009 Stock sound a cross between the 323 and 375 EMU's. Like the new Automatic PA System. It sounds similar to the one on all the other lines with the exception of the Northern, Met, Piccadilly and Jubilee.

  • That thing just looks like a refurb. They should have gone on with the Space train idea.

  • is it running every day?

  • According to Wikipedia "One train of 2009 Stock has now entered service and runs the #277 Seven Sisters - Brixton service daily at 23:55pm."

  • Its so hard to find a good vid or pic of these, its like a the electrostars/class 333 in one. but It looks a bit strange on the outside!

  • I love this train!!!

  • Hey,did you film this train leaving a station?

  • No I filmed it at a bus stop didn't I.

  • No it had already left the station.

  • The hard is leave home at 23:50 to film it.

  • What are you on about?

I filmed the train arriving at Finsbury Park and then departing.

  • What I meant to say was it had already left Seven Sisters

  • Yeah, Finsbury Park is the next stop southbound.

  • Yeah, but I said out of the train.

  • It had a SPAD at Kings Cross northbound when running emtpy back to depot from it's southbound trip.

  • LOL - HAHAHA :D

  • I assume that was taken before it had it's SPAD at Kings Cross. lol!

  • I was on the train through Kings Cross this night and it didn't have a SPAD...

  • Train looks very empty. But still your very lucky.

  • I made a point of being in the rear car, to take pictures easier. There were alot of managers out for it, in the first car.

I even had my picture taken with Tim O'Toole!! (Ex LU managing director)

  • Ok, i see. Were the seats though confortable?

  • Very.

  • The train was 23:55 ex Seven Sisters though wasn't it?

  • Yes.

  • i'm scared of the noises

  • Feels like Tokyo has come to London at last. Great video, I hope these trains don't break down too often...

  • WOW! What a train! Has the sound of a hyper class 333 EMU with the body of a LU train lol..

  • Ita a Electrostar disguised as a tube as it was constructed at Derby

  • To me it sounds like a class 357 electrostar when it comes into the station and when it leaves.

  • Same!

  • You was the one who started the argument in the public Dan!

  • "the word they usually means a group"

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what the hell you are going on about here, but there are three 09TS's in existance.

When I took you to see them there were two!

But I forgot, this is the way you treat your friends who take you into LUL staff-only places.

Did you apply for a job as CSA? Or didn't you know they had opened for external aplications? If so, I bet they turned you down. Get some people skills for god sake.

  • This seems to be the only place he will talk to me, apart from when I turn up at his door!

  • As for you James, nice video.

  • Wow another example of replacing a decent example of a simple train made up of mechanics and bolts, with a plastic toy! Thanks TFL!

It would also appear Emma Clarke had drank too much poweraid when she recorded that DVA....

  • what a dreadful dva

  • lol

  • wow great catch! I love the propulsion on this train.

  • thank you for putting this up! i can't wait to go on one of these! aris this train in service every day now?

  • Wow, pretty cool! Can't wait to try them out myself. They sound pretty sweet as well - it's like a combimation of the LU '92 ts and the mainline electrostar trains.

But I think I prefer the old DVA though.

  • Awesome! These trains look excellent! Are these still running now, or was this a one off do you know? Because I thought these wern't due to run until December!

  • wow ~2009ts...finally got Air-Con in it ...

p.s. i still like the old train

  • There isn't any air conditioning on these new trains. Just better forced ventilation.

  • oh~thx for your remind~

  • this is one epic train

i like the engine noise ;)

  • Same.

Dan Lewis (Alstom1995) said that they deffo won't be in service this year, as LU are short of cash... I think this video says it all about the quality of his information!
