for those who wanna feel pro if u have north american version on this game..... go to gamefaqs.com and type patapon 2, go to patapon 2 and go to saves, and save the 3rd save game from gamefaq member Knightmare316 and u get every single weapon in the game and all material so i kick ass right now but in previous save this mission was way too easy cuz i had no internet to get saves. so HA!

my technique there when I played that is to use tatepon hero, for you to be shielded always when hero mode activates. When it happens, you'll be invincible to any attacks.

@karatedofan The symbols symbolize the amount of times you've drummed a song perfectly. Also called "perfect set." You haven't drummed a song perfectly yet.

@kingben821 They'r actually demons and have nothing to do with the black Hoshipon. Kuwagatten.. I rather call him Beetletan :P Beetleton was from Patapon 1, Beetletan is the "new" one in Patapon 2. Spiderton is old news.. :)

Gong was left in a island, but survived and is now back and after Dark Hero, which actually is a Zigoton. He is Makoton from Patapon 1 and wants revenge on the Patapons, 'cos of the scene in Tamaran Desert.

@jone714 ok so beetleton becomes a new dekapon in the form of kuwaggaton. knew that. and makaton otherwise known as scorpiton becomes that "dark hero." i think i knew that. but gong is now taken side with the patapons and is now fighting the karmen and akumapons? or is he still enemies with the patapons. clarify that please. spiderton doesn't appear at all, right?

@kingben821 No, there's no Scorpiton in Patapon 2. Makoton is just Dark Hero, nothing more to say :) Your right, Gong finds the truth and fights along with the Patapons. Who is "akumapons?"

Dude, I am completely stuck on this mission, no matter what I do, I get my ass handed to me on this thing by the gate...ONCE I get past the tower. What level are your guys at, and where did you get the fancy pants helmet for your hero?? I have been playing this on and off since it came out, and I'm starting to get aggravated.

Try upgrading & evolving your army, else you'll never finish off hard stages.

Also the patapon is born with wings and is and lvl. 5 Baasara.

It's not a helmet, the patapon is born with the wings. The patapon is called Sabara. This is a lvl. 5 Baarsara :P

Robopon is the class, with the highest damage amount in the game. However the Robopons defense skills are very low, so any hit could damage alot, or K.O. him. I'm not sure I even had a Robopon at that time :P

So when you perform a "perfect set", meaning that you drum a song perfectly, a symbol will stand below Fever.

In order to activate Hero Mode I need 2 perfect sets in a row, or just 3 randomly(performed any time).

Hope that doesn't make it more confusing!

Guess what, I just checked Hoshipons' speeches in Japanese version (I play the Japanese version). According to the way they talk they're actually male - Dark Hoshipon says "boku" ("I " for young boys) instead of "watashi" ("I" for female and posers) when flaming the player for killing his two "pets".

The bell minigame gave me 900+ Ka-ching on level 3, but it all depends on the materials you give. level 3 requires 5 materials. i gave 2 good ones, 3 lv1 materials.

On the other hand, Dodonga is extremely fragile adn fallas easily, Majidonga it's not that much powerful either... and Kachindonga rarely shows up o.o
