And in response to your statement: not entirely. There are some players who aren't content with sc2, believe it or not. I've asked a few, and the limited audience DoW2 currently fields will probably continue well and truly into the release of sc2 simply because the context of the game is one that far exceeds sc2 in immersion and creativity.

I'm not supporting DoW2 - I hate it - but it did a few things right on this one.

@UltraSimon007 Yea agreed that dow2 did alot right but they messed up on several parts too, this is coming from a longtime dow2 player. The huge amount creativity involved in the game makes it sort of unbalanced.

@EvenHummROCKS Ahh, I'm glad I have a veteran tuning into the occasional video of mine - thanks for the interest. I completely agree. Oddly enough though, it's that creativity that retains the player base.

I'm a long-time protester of mod tool-implementation. I think it's what DoW2 missed. DoW1 was only so popular for these very reasons.

But oh well. The new age of games should be interesting.

Us dowpro guys post replays/discussions on DoWsanctuary mainly, but we meet up/chat on a program called mIRC (#quakenet#dowpro). It's like msn, only chat rooms, and less flashy stuff. Very basic, and free.

Man, I gota admit. I was watching a DoW pro vod once and I saw Warp Spiders on T1. I cut this sh** off so fast.. But after Vaul explained stuff - I have to say I'm very impressed ^^ Good work, more vods please xD

Oh thanks :D I'm waiting for a good game between 2 even/good players to come up. There hasn't been a lot of that lately that doesn't involve me, as players are too busy testing the new races to get them nice and shinny. :\

Very good video,I'm used to Vaul but you are very close;).Thanks for all the explenation about Pro it really looks mutch more difficult then the standard DoW.I'm not really a good player,can't even get my modem set for multiplayer ( !:p ) But non the less,you have a new fan.I love to see DoW played by good players:).Thx!
