Hi Nuttn - I finally own a knife that u are reviewing; FUN !! I must say this knife is a lil monster that shakes your hand a lil while opening very quickly ! It is like a folding machete and I am not an authority (like yourself) but I am a novice collector and have about 45 autos to my collection. This is a nice knife and I also paid 195 - Its well worth it !

Just ordered this knife last thursday, still waiting on it in the mail. If someone posted, "I got 191.. only 9 left" 9 months ago, does this mean my knife isn't part of the 200 collection? Surely they've sold the 9 within the past 9 months. I'm sorta confused but will just have to see what comes in the mail.

I received this knife the other day & I love it! i was under the impression I was ordering the black version seen in this video but received the green, 20 of 200. There wasn't an option to choose color on the site, but, I'm indifferent to its color at this point.

Very solid knife with a trustworthy, heavy spring to deploy the blade in any condition. i have a front ejection auto knife that falls off track 50% of the time & is no longer "trustworthy" in my opinion. This is my new carry for sure.

Never buy a front opener unless it's a reputable brand like Microtech, Protech ect. ect.. Basically, if it costs less than $200, and it's a front opener, it's a piece of junk, unless you got lucky and got an insane deal.

Dalton Knives are cool, I have one, don't carry it, because another good point is it will open in your pocket, I have the scar to prove it. Also if I had not just reached in and cut myself and actually sat down that day, it would have been very ugly. It is very very sharp. I will put up a photo If I can. The point will draw blood very easily

I'll never buy a Rob Dalton knife. Anyone who puts Nazi, SS, and Aryan Brotherhood shit on their products won't get a dime from me. I'm not going to tell nutnfancy what to do with his money, and for all I know he doesn't know about it, but for myself I could never support this company. Too bad really because I've always liked the design of his knives.

Collected Microtechs for a while but sold them as the prices went up. Daltons were for keeps. :)

You should store your spring autos in the open position to prevent spring wear.

Kinda like storing full clips for long periods of time.

I love this blade , but it just isnt the knife you want if you plan on carring it in your pocket everydaY The one you would love is ROBBIE DALTON MOE AUTOMATIC it is a total of 7 inches and closed its only 4 inches . but i do love the militia 2 to ; awesome . who am i kidding every thing this guy makes is the balls keep up the good work . p.s. you could send me a green dragon for the great review . i never got one . peace bongo

I like the knife but just wish that the blade went in a little deeper in the handle when closed, I don't like for alot of blade to be exposed when it's closed..that's another thing I love about the LEEK. But love the vid as always 5/5

It looks like you should practice rotating your thumb counter-clockwise and sliding down that slanted recess when gripping the knife to find the actuation button. That's probably the idea behind the recess being slanted and runnning out to the edge of the handle.

I saw a Severtech Spartan at a local knife shop but its limited only to LEOs/Military/Firefighters. This knife sorta reminds me of that one. Well blade shape is totally different but when I fooled with the Spartan it was intimidating to me for whatever reason. Love to have it but they wanted $350, now that is a lot of money. Outrageous if you ask me.

Well pointed out. ats34 is a japanese version of 154cm, itself a pulversintered version of 440C. I find ats34 much easier to sharpen than 154, this may be down to blade harness however.

Early this year I began using rwl34, which is a Swedish refinement of ats34. Great stuff. Recommended. Not widely used in American knives though. Shame, it's up there with vg10.
