Hey Andrew, i'm frustrated everytime i practice my scales and soloing techniques(bends, hammer-ons/pull-offs etc.) cause i always hear sounds that aren't suppose to be ringing. This really is a massive headache for me, how do i fix this?
@creativeguitarstudio Hey Andrew! I'm loving the videos I've watched so far. Just a quick question I got though; is that guitar in the background a ESP LTD. Viper? It looks pretty similar to the guitar I want now, so I was just wondering.
im a new subcriber i dont have much knowledge on notes i can play some complex things but i really wanna learn how to solo im a moron on that if anyone has some helpfull advice id really appreciate it :D great lessona man .
@blackvein511 look up a basic pentatonic lesson, then play those five notes in different combinantions over really simply songs (snow (hey-oh) -- G#m pent; gimme shelter -- C#m pent; sunshine of ur love -- Dmaj/Bm pent). after you think you start sounding good come back to this video.
My problem with bending strings is that when I release the string I'm bending, sometimes other strings get caught in the bend and slams a horrible open string sound.
dw i used to do that loads, try to use your picking hand to mute the other strings. so rest your hand on the strings (unless you have a Floyd rose) :) hope that helps
I'm a brand new subscriber. I really appreciate your teaching style. Its important to know the notes that you're playing, not just the fret number. Thanks also for throwing in some info about the theory behind what each part is. I've got a very basic knowledge of theory and this is helping reinforce that.
Haha! I'm not sure how you do it, but somehow you create the exact videos I need at the time I need them, and you deliver on these videos better than anything I can find. Once again, excellent work and thank you Andrew!
He sell it - Part 2 - for only $1.99 on his site. I just buy it and it is worth more. Very excellent price.
To me that is cheap and I want to support him. I don't want him to quit this lesson stuff on YouTube. I want him to keep going, he is a great teacher.
The Dreaded Error Message... I've been seeing this A LOT lately on TONS of videos here at YouTube... Are their servers finally choking from all the uploads/traffic. ??? mmmmmmm...
great video, your lesson inspired me.
please check out my solo in this contest: /watch?v=Im8YvwpL2Uo

WHAT IS THAT LITTLE DEVICE HOOKED TO THE BACK END FRONT OF YOUR GUITAR, IS IT A MIC OF SOMEKIND?
moseseseseses 1 year ago
@moseseseseses I believe it's a guitar synth. (substitute for the pickups that enables you to get all kinds of sounds, like a keyboard)-
