Harley Davidson 2009 "Sportster 1200 Custom"

I bough mine last year, i had a sportsbike but wanted a cruiser. Had a few test rides, one on a Triumph Thunderbird and one on a Sportster 1200 Custom, i ended up with the sportster for its all round handling etc. Very nice bike and im very pleased with it, carnt say more than that, and it cost me less on insurance and fuel to run.

I own a 95 XL 1200 Sportster with Stage 3 Mods.

Dynamometer data is: 73 bhp and 68 ft/ lb. torque @ 6000 rpm.

For those that call my bike a "girls bike" ?

Do the HP/Weight ratio math.Who is driving a girls bike and who is driving a TANK ?

Check mine out...I got rid of the stock pipes and put Pythons on, Yes, it is very fast and it fits me just fine...almost 6' here...

i rode a 1200 sportster blacked out with vance hines drag pipes and the screamin eagle intake and heads and o my god it was sick i was rollin throu town runnin idk 45 and layed down on it and god its cut the back tire loose and hooked up and daym iz foing a 100 in a short second

hey, since you got one.... im thinking of getting one and im 6'2', are sportsters too small for me, or are my freinds just being stupid saying that?

well it all depends. it definitely has enough power and torque. it would be nice if i had a little more leg room on it. I am able to sit on the back seat and cruise if i want though. my only real complaint with it is the 5th gear feels a little too small, i feel like it needs a 6th

nah im 6'1 and my older brother is 6'3 and a 1200 sportster is perfect for tall and big guys...its not small once u sit down haha
