Hi, did you prefer flying in the Emirates or Singapore Airlines first class suite? I have heard a lot of debates over which one is best, what do you think?
I prefer Singapore Airlines A380 suites since they feel bigger, probably because they are on the lower deck, more in the centre of the plane. Emirates suites are on the upper deck and the walls of the cabin are narrowing at the top. Also the Emirates suites are decorated in a very ostentations way, with gold decoration everywhere. Okay, there aren't showers on the Singapore Airlines A380s, but not many people use them on the Emirates flights anyway. But, the Emirates flights cost less.
I'd really love to fly first class for a long flight but I'm not willing to shell out the 15 grand for it srsly considered it though :\ what the hell do you do for a living
In reply to Dorn677, I flew from the UK to New Zealand and back. The part from the UK to Singapore and back was in the
A380 suite and the leg between Singapore and New Zleand and back was in a normal first class seat. The whole return flight was 7,500 British Pounds, so it was pretty expensive.
i was on first class in Emirates A380,Air france,Lufthansa,Qantas, and Singapore Airlines

I'm actually retired now, but I worked hard and saved lots when I was working, so I'm enjoying spending it all now, getting drunk in first class!!!

I've just checked my itinerary and it was just over 7,000 British Pounds for the return flight from the UK to New Zealand and back.
