How to fix "Apple mobile device service not started error"

EVERYBODY.

If these steps do not solve this problem as was the case for me then I recommend you do the following and remove the following programs via control panel IN THIS particular order. iTunes QuickTime Apple Software Update Apple Mobile Device Support Bonjour Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

Once this has been done, restart your pc then redownload the latest version of iTunes and hopefully, it should now be working again.
