I loved the fall 1999 collection. It's one of the highlights of McQueen's career, I think. Stunning in it's technicality, the shapes, the designs, the fabrics, and the presentation. The presentation was stellar! I think FW99, SS07 (Barry Lindon) and FW08 are certainly highpoints of his career. They perhaps best show his technical understanding, and the way he combines the fright of the deepest canals of the mind with utter, lush beauty.

if *ONLY* there were more FW98 video coverage/footage available online. I did enjoy 'sarabande' (s/s 2007) very much...but nothing compared to the diabolical, in-your-face mental tantrums of his mid-late '90s work....especially at Givenchy.
