  • I'm learning from the documentary and your comments

  • I liked the Viet Cong when they were underground.

  • America just used there soldiers as cannon fodder. See stupid people stay out of the army they will use you.

  • Wow that's pretty interesting woman Booz and soldiers who didn't give a fuck that's like throwing gasoline into a wild fire 2+2=4 the U.S really fucked that up pretty bad.

  • i can hear sun tzu clapping now good times good times

  • why did they set up this example and make the commies sun tzu?

  • @Johndoe2point0 because the commies were the ones following sun tzu

  • @39unknown93

ah but sun tzu wasn't a commy! In fact he is a prototypical enemy of the communist type bias so they were not really following suntzu they were following the commies

  • @Johndoe2point0 No, he wasn't, he disappeared millenias before the communisto manifesto was written. I said the communists were following sun tzu's wisdom

  • @Johndoe2point0 I didn't say he was a commie. They were following his strategies, not his political factors.

  • Revisionism at it's worst

  • @Johndoe2point0 Do you actually have an idea what Reviosionism means?

  • Do not forget that the USA invaded Vietnam because they didnt wanted an United Vietnam with Ho Chi Minh as the leader (because he was Marxiste).

  • @teucimex There's a false reasons for wars and Marxist is one of them.After 60 years & 60.000

young soldoers are dead,we have a diplomatic & economic & all with the same Marxist country !

what they failed to mentioned that the US troops had goals in a country they don't know and they

were fighting the owners of the land who have np where else to run to & they didn't have any options but to fight 4 their country and I am sure most the Americans would do the same. watch?v=rwJhUvJyiII

  • @BigDog1527 Indeed you are righta about the death toll among Vietnamese fighters and civilians (from North and South Vietnam), but once the americans packed their bags, the vietcong invaded the south with a crushing victory, and Vietnam was united.

  • I wonder how the Vietnamese fighters didn't break on their spirit? Surely a war where you lose many times more of your own soldiers than the enemy just to drag it on enough to change the opinion back at their home can't be all that exciting. Even if they won this way, they still had an death-toll that had skyrocketed, and their own country bombed to pieces.

There only "victory" was that Americans packed the bags and left?

  • Sun Tzu then used his fight money to buy two of every animal, and then he loaded them onto a boat and then he beat the CRAP out of every single one...I should stop listening to Soldier for history lessons.

  • 4 people lost a war a againts sun ztu

  • rambo defies the art of war

  • I think Ninjas were made by Sun Tsu lol.

  • That Increased my respect for Vietnamise , i am a Cypriot lol..

  • can anyone recommend any other good strategy books

  • @king78802 "On War", by Carl Von Clausewitz, a Prussianin the early 1800's, he mentions the Napoleonic war a lot to. This guy takes what Sun Tzu said to a whole new level and goes in depth on different kinds of attacks, not actual strategies but just more specifics than, if outnumbered 1 to 5; avoid battle or if outnumber 2 to 1; encircle enemy like Sun Tzu does.

  • @SupaTROopa2 Thanks for bringing to my attention this work. I'm going to be checking it out.

  • Korean War, Vietnam War, now the war in the Middle East. Just goes to show Anerica is a power-hungry corrupt country

  • @Awesomeduud He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign.

  • @Awesomeduud you have no idea what you are talking about so dont even try to make any statements about that lmfao

  • @Airsofta17 Please, give me reasons why America is going to war.

  • @Awesomeduud korea and vietnam were during the cold war. they were partly a struggle between democracy and communism. the middle east, well, that was a mistake, even the leaders who planned the attack on terror said that. they made a list of all the things that could go wrong and it just so happens that everything that couldve went wrong, went wrong.

  • If I can mindfuck you without you even knowing I win plan and simple.

  • My father is a veitnam war veteran who fought for the South Vietnam. However, I personally support the North Vietnam in this. South Vietnam was selling out like a bitch to the US and other western powers begging to be colonised again. North had to take over the South and make sure the country as whole becomes independent. Rightly so after having been the victim of wesern colonisation for almost 500 years. Give them the independence they want and deserve! Yankies get the hell out of the country.

  • I love how people always get the T and TH mixed up when trying to speak Viet.. T is pronounced as the word "the" and TH is prounced as tuh such as in the word ten. TET IS PRONOUNCED "THE-ATE." LEARN YOUR DAMN CHING CHONG. >= <

  • @AnhThien5o4 It's like how they pronounce "Sun Tzu" the whole time. For crying out loud it's pronounced "Sunzi"

  • vietnam learned the one weekness of the US- whores.

  • @Pikazilla yup

  • @Pikazilla I hate how there's always one of you bastards on intellectual videos, then again when nearly every country has public computers there's always some ignorant, biased asshole who posts his opinions before thinking about what he's saying.

  • @Shadowfan4 u mad?

I'll still have more likes than your comment.

    [trollface]

  • @Pikazilla Amen they went in not knowing the enemy

  • @Pikazilla I'm Vietnamese i can tell you, we all learned from this War together. ( Whores ) ? Respect your Enemies or you soon be peril ! We never disrespected our Opponents !

  • @cjyost

    Thank you for noticing.

  • @soldjer Exactly, the only thing that saved them many times was air power. lol

  • wow hill kill his mother to win a war

  • 01:05

    He's dead :\.

  • @InflatedSnake how do you know?

  • @DeathlyDavid Ok, you try and survive that.

  • lol... the history channel is most definitely owned by the murdoch new corp... lol... there is so much 'subliminal' propoganda in this documentary it's getting funny...

  • @HNCS2006 news corp

  • @HNCS2006 Yeah Rupert's Newscorp fails to mention the 20th century Art of War "Use the monopoly of money to fund both sides of a war to achieve maximum profits and consolidate your monopoly over money."

Sun Tzu couldn't imagine the conquering of the planet with paper and electronic currency. John Dee,the Rothschilds and Rockefellers could.

  • @guysmyly lol. NICE!!

  • @guysmyly That would also apply to Hegel, "first, create the problem, then find the antidote, await for a resolution or a consensus."

  • @HNCS2006 Give me an example please. I don't know what to look for...

  • @HNCS2006 You're kinda being like the lef's glenn beck. War isn't just an american republican occupation, but the struggle for power over resources, and corruption is a human trait, and the process of strategy has more to do with than combat.

In all friendship here, the art of war reaches for broader issues than the idealistic propaganda sideshow on mainstream news channels.

  • @StuggleIsNatural I'm not sure what you're tying to say here. But I didn't mention nor intend "left" and "right" politics in my original comment, i hate the terms "left-right". I'm not a democrat, trying to put down the republicans. Murdoch's news empire isn't mere "right-wing politics". It isn't about Fox vs CNN. As @cjyost said, it's more to do with Orwell's concept of totalitarianism than right-left relativism. On the other hand, Art of War is obviously more than just mere military strategy.

  • @StuggleIsNatural The book "Art of War" is a philosophical book that derives from Taoism. However, this documentary is trying to reduce it to a mere book of combat strategy, and using it as a vehicle for obvious propaganda about the American invasion of Vietnam. I'm not the one trying to reduce the Art of War, i'm reacting against a blatant display of disdain for simple truth by the "History Channel".

Either way, I'm not sure how you came to infer i was a "Glenn Beck" of the "left".

  • @HNCS2006 But see that's how you're like beck... "obvious propaganda". If you're not you, perhaps it's not so obvious. To me it's just an adaptation of the "art of war" applied to a variety of wars, actually. They could have easily applied the principles to business or politica as well - and that wouldn't make it propaganda for the USSR, for example. So, to me it's not so obvious, but the inclination for you to lean toward a sort of conspiracy from murdoch makes it a bit Beckish to me.

  • @StuggleIsNatural Just to lay our grounds clearer before we venture off into further debate, do you identify with any political view point? I should probably make myself clearer as well. The lies I talk of in this documentary aren't exclusive to Murdoch. When the American invasion of Vietnam failed, a lot of information came out during the 70's and 80's that exposed the American propaganda about the war at the time due to very good and courageous investigative journalism. Unfortunately over time

  • @StuggleIsNatural Also, just wanted to know what you think the "Art of War" is, in your opinion? The art of war as i said isn't a book of instructions for military, political or economic strategy. It is fundamentally underpinned by a system of philosophy as well as morality. SunTzu's first "law" so the speak, says that any man entering into battle must do so with a solemn and heavy heart, for war is life and death. Any strategy of SunTzu's is founded on morality.

  • @StuggleIsNatural A country that went into Vietnam and carpet bombed their forests, their cities and their entire land with chemical weapons, permanently destroying their land, their people and inflicting on going diseases and genetic mutations to their people and children, is in no way finding their military strategy on morality. SunTzu's Art of War is a life attitude, a political attitude, not a list of cheap tricks to win any dirty war a country wishes to start.

  • @HNCS2006 ...but i don't view that as an insult either. I think Beck just kind of sensationalizes what is relatively speculative and easy to research on your own.

  • @HNCS2006 I fail to see the US propaganda in this doc, nor do I see the degrading of the art of war

  • The largest defense budget in the world cannot even come close to a $10 paperback or just plain common sense. Military superiority is an oxy-moron

  • I wonder what goes on in the minds of every general who did study the Art of War. Did they remember some quotes or did they just grasp the concept then applied it?

  • @3ch056 It isn't that hard to do so. Basically, you follow these steps:

    1) Why are you fighting the war? Or Do you need to fight the war? Basically find your goal, whether it is for territory, to defend against a threat, or to kill their leader (In the latter, an assassination might be all that is needed)

    2) Find out all the possible strategies

    3) Eliminate the infeasible ones through Art of War guidelines, and follow the best idea

    4) Plan what to do afterwards

    5) Repeat 1-4 again

  • @fleeordie indeed

  • If you are interested in knowing the military's response to losing the war "at home", google "mindwar lt. col. Aquino" which will direct you to the "mindwar" psyop white paper written by lt. col aquino, who was a practicing luciferean. This paper sought to answer the problem of negative propoganda through a mindwar upon the american people, by controlling the media and all debate.

  • @slewofdamascus Ever heard of the Huk rebellion, or Ramon Magsaysay?

  • @CosmoShidan I have now - I read his wikipedia, which is a fascinating story. He seems like an admirable leader, who was probably assassinated. Is that your take?

  • @slewofdamascus He gave great momentum to the Philippines as president, for example, our great and glorious republic was able to compete economically and educationally with Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan until his supposed assignation in 1957. I have suspicion that the famous "domino theory" was attributed towards Magsaysay as he formed SEATO. It's too bad he isn't given enough recognition outside the Philippines and the novel Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein. He was a master of warfare.

  • @CosmoShidan So overall, that is my take. He isn't called the "chief of psychological warfare" for nothing.

  • @lifes40123

since you didn't seem to pay attention to the video, you're as irrelevant as what you said.

'but you didn't win a single engagement'

'thats' correct sir but that's also irrelevant.' something like that.

  • if u guys didnt know.. 20 communist vietnamese died for every 1 american soldier

  • @lifes40123 Dude, they said it in the video

"One does not win wars by winning battles"

  • Mexico

major drug-producing nation; cultivation of opium poppy in 2007 rose to 6,900 hectares yielding 50 metric tons of "black tar" heroin. Marijuana cultivation increased to 8,900 hectares in 2007 and yielded a potential production of 15,800 metric tons; drug syndicates control the majority of drug trafficking throughout the country; producer and distributor of ecstasy; significant money-laundering center; largest foreign supplier of marijuana and methamphetamine to the world

  • Hey Renato why not read a book so you can learn some facts??

  • @caseyshattuck speak for yourself you havnt giving one single fact i suggest you educate yourself in world history and culture instead of disrespecting cause your only making yourselves look stupid sense everybody knows americans dont have no culture youv adopted from other cultures for example you look down and disrespect arabs yet you use there math equation system and im to make things clear im not the one who started insulting i simple stated about U.S/Afgan war and i get racist comments..

  • this book is also great for everyday life especially for getting and manipulating the bitches lol

  • Read Anthony Wilden's "The rules are no game" (1988). Strategic envelopment is to attack the rules of the game at the higher level of control. War is constrained and oriented by the government and the government by its oublic opinion in an elective democracy as the US. Thus, Tet offensive was to turn public opinion against war and paved the way for an honorable peace negociation in Paris.

  • KUCHI

  • @chadsexinton learn to speak english first before you claim to be an American!

  • @caseyshattuck how and where did i claim to be an american? i would hate to accidently insult myself.

  • @caseyshattuck how and where did i claim to be an american? i would hate to accidently insult myself.

  • @chadsexinton You already accomplished that when you opened your mouth!

  • @HDNKR WHY WOULD ANYONE WWANT TO BE AN AMERICAN?

  • @chadsexinton So we dont get accused of killing aborigines!!! So we are accused of having balls!!! So no one screws with us!!! So we get the best that life can offer!!!

  • @HDNKR Coke is americas cup of coffee wat we make in the drug trade alone makes the U.S profits look like bubble gum change we own the whole store puerco so keep shining shoes working that social security puerco and while you at it go make me a burrito make sure its extra spicy mentiendes lol..

  • look at any war win or lose hahhah..usa. not even win any where....usa..love women and too much addict drug...look at vietnam war ...and today usa..not even change at all.. they are bomb on the soldiers..they bomb on puppy field and nothing there...i see now iraq and afghanista..we gonna loose and our soldiers all are coming home by in a baggg....nothing there....

  • Nuygen Giap just pwned America in Diplomacy and the use of the American Media.

  • Chapter 13- use of secret agents. I also played a lot of Romance of the Three Kingdom games and some of that "jungle music" with horns sounds like it was from the Nanman battles in RTK 8.

  • oh my god...i can't believe i vomited after seeing the picture at 1:59...so cruel...

  • @691hey Those are high caliber rounds, they literally cut you in half.

  • 7:02 Right under their noses :)

  • Pity that the conscript are being used as nothing more than just cannon fodders in search and destroy mission

  • how many of you experts have actually been to Afghnistan...or better yet seen real combat?

  • it's just sooo ironic.

  • its funny how this is so ironic.

  • Forrest Gump was a tunnel rat.

  • solve the tunnel problem? they should have looked back to world war 2, how did they defeat the japanese tunnel network....? wars waged by united states today wont end up like veitnam etc...its controlled by international syndicate that will do what it takes to unite the world under the new world order... i hope it will not be in my lifetime, but im sure im ready for it when it comes

  • The United States Is Rome

    It's simple to understand

Obama is Nero and Rome is Burning

Even if he is married and has childeren and is not gay he's still not a Natural Born Citizen !.

    He's an Usurper.

  • @donjuandonjuan "he's still not a Natural Born Citizen"

    *Facepalm*

  • @donjuandonjuan

Yes, cause obviously all civilization is burning to the ground.

I like how conservatives and liberals always bicker like little kids and make up shit.

    Good luck with your theory.

  • USA just wants oil.............

  • USA, don't learn their lesson don't count on military power, which i think usa will lose to Afghanistan

  • @xxxdatxxx Well, we shall see later. Although I do feel that human nature, never change.

  • u all right why on earth are we in iraq and afghanistan? me i think its oil or other natural resources and we will lose both of these so called "wars" because public opinion is turning against these "wars". there is a quote from a NVA the final peace negotiations where the american officer said "you guys never once beat us on the battlefield" and the NVA officer said "well thats not really the issue here is it" that is why we will lose these "wars" is we will lose our will to fight.

  • lol the biggest hole is a ku chi thats hella funny

  • The battlefield never trully is the best place to fight the war. The waris fought in the minds of commanders.

  • Those tactics worked cause the Vietnamese were defendin g their country, and every foreigner was an invader.

  • @5B0YAKASHA5 exactly when you look at it from their point of view what choice did they have really. It was either fight and maybe get killed. or dont fight and get killed anyway

  • 02:38 What exactly is he saying? Didn't get that.

  • is "intellegence" kind of the samething as "spies"?

  • spies, traitors (informants) and experience on the battlefield.

  • "Intelligence" is the info. "Spies" are the people who get you the info.

  • On the other side how did the Vietnamese genaral find money to pay his spies? Both countries were on commercial logs

  • the spies didnt wanted to get paid anyways. lol. they wanted to die for their country

  • well but you cant continue like that you will run out of supplies. War, art, and mathematics is passionating, but I never heard a farmer say that he will do it for his country, you need to give money for people who give you supplies even if you are a spy you need to eat. so you need to get some money.

  • Unlike WW2, the Americans were operating in enemy territory. The Vietcong used Vietnamese civilians who didn't feel anything for these foreign soldiers. It's not quite like the Nazis trying to convince a British citizen to betray his fellow British. Because it was easier, they did probably did not have to pay as much.

  • Well how ever they all had to eat...there must be some good Logistic tactics..

  • the soldiers were provably saying all the big things they have in their division to impress them ...

  • As an engineer player in team fortress 2 I find these techniques actually work wonders. Relentlessly attack from a particular angle till your opponent believes they can predict your movements, then change your angle of attack to your real objective. It even works against spy classes, who are supposed to be the deceptive bane of engineers. Be where your opponent isn't and you win.

  • Tsun Tzu works in any kind of human engagement. War, bad relationships... anything.

  • LOOK HERE

Americans didnt play this war like Chess..WTF..They play this by outnumbering the enemy. Chess has nothing to do with this war. Chess is only applicable in a symmetric war fare, whe you fight bishop with bishop, and castle with castle like Air Force with Air force and so on. This war is assymetric and no connection to chess.

  • Why tell me?

Also, Chess is a game of attrition. Search and Destroy is an attrition tactic if there ever was one.

  • well it is not a tactic influenced by chess while the intellectual Genaral was playing it, its just a tactic they made up naturaly by experience at concrete war. The ideal game of chess would be if you could manipulate higher level of logistic like changing the capital and changing industries and changing divisions and so on. Manipulating main powers. You wouldnt think chess if you dont see a chess board. there was no chess board because of asymmetry.

This Chess credit is for exegeration

  • I think they mean it in a more abstract, general sense. Chess matches usually end with only a handful of pieces on the board.

  • @goodluckpeace44 But the fundamental is still there. Chess is, a game of killings and attrition. Well, personally I tried be very defensive during the chess play but still, I have to sacrifice some of the units.

  • @SuperAlienkiller If the translations were unclear, it's the author's fault. If the translations were clear and precise, then it was your fault.

  • so you've wasted your time...

  • your local book shops should have a copy if not try amazon or some other online retailer. I acquired mine through borders, nice hardcover so it'll be around for me to give to my family.

  • This is pretty awesome, I own a copy of the Sun Tzu writings, pretty amazing stuff. I use the teachings a lot when I play strategy games.

  • This is why I fear that America will be defeated in Afghanistan.

We just launched a major attack on Taliban poppy fields but again its just a major direct attack using advanced technology. Even if we win it wont guarantee a victory in the war. We are taking the same path of the Soviets when they tried to conquer that region.=(

  • Sun tzu also talks about the enormous costs it takes to maintain a distant army, how using military too much causes inflation, and how as a result of it taxes will rise to at least 1/3 of the citizens income...Sun tzu's theories (laws) of war predict that we will lose in Afghanistan...

  • Americans don't give a shit about wars in the middle east. The people are never behind these wars, it's really far away, and not worth it. Noone ever even caught Osama Bin Laden. We could use that war money for something useful like infrastructure and education

  • @UltimoLatino some people just don't learn.

  • @jimothy183 Its more to it than that. You see for Tsun Tzu, war was simply a matter of life and death. Wars were fought to achieve a goal back then. Either you were defending your home land from a foreign invader, or You were a country looking to expand your empire. Nowadays, we fight wars for profit, not wars for necessity. The US economy relies heavily on jobs that depend on the defense industry. WW2 was the last war of necessity America fought

  • @jimothy183 back in those days, All war was fought and funded by the state. Nowadays wars have been outsourced. Corporations need war to make money. Whats Ironic, are the so called Patriots who are the biggest war hawks. They are all too happy to send Americans off to die for nothing under the guise of "protecting freedom". Are too stupid to realise that every bullet fired is another dime going into the pocket of big foreign Corporations like FN Herstal. American blood makes Corporations Fatter

  • @UltimoLatino The problem with afghanistan why the USA cant win is that the war has no point. There is no clear long term objective, that the war is trying to attain. Whenever you attack a country, you do it as a means to achieve something greater. Either your doing it for territorial expansion, or your aim is to achieve something politically.

  • @UltimoLatino We dont want to take over Afghan territory. So really all the taliban has to do is relax and do small guriella attacks on our troops, till we get board and leave then they take over the country again.

This is the fundamental point that Conservatives and other war hawks just do not get. The "war on terror" is a stupid concept because your fighting a war against a tactic not with the aim of achieving anything.

  • @3star2nr ur wrong, we america are a very imperialistic nation who only seeks ways to become richer and more powerful, thats why wmd was never found in iraq and was just used as a lie to obtain oil in iraq. our government is on a dark road and i do not know what to expect from them in the furutre

  • @UltimoLatino Actually we are protecting poppy fields, even providing fertilizer and equipment for farmers. Taliban had severely restricted poppy growth before we invaded. It has increased over 90% !!! Great source of income for CIA black ops. Don't believe me, do the research, even Geraldo Rivera did an interview with the officer in charge telling what they were doing. Get the facts. Wake up!

  • @UltimoLatino No shit Sherlock. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Your Country needs an anti-war movement. You cannot defeat a country with a population of millions, this is the new World Order. You have to win the hearts of the enemy, they have nowhere to go so they cannot win the ground.

  • @UltimoLatino Please don't compare military action in Afghanistan to actions in Vietnam, Korea, and the World Wars. Afghan is nothing like a true war.

  • @UltimoLatino Yeah Afghanistan seems eerily similar to Vietnam.

  • MILLITARY WE WONT LOSE, we can destroy the whole middle east today of we want. No the reaons we figth there is political, there is no sense for a "war on terrorism" we got man muslim terrorist in USA to and ghettos hwere peopel die every day. Theres no sense to let US soldiers die for problems in countries far away we usualy dont have anything to do with.

The reason is MONEY and Obama, Bush are cowards who are not having enaugh balls to get the soldeirs home.

  • @JSLegoMaster Actually the USA has been losing in Afghanistan the past 4 YEARS! and it is in ground battle that makes them have so many casualties lol talk about losing big time

  • losing? the talibans lose x times more men than the Americans and that a fact. Operation enduring freedom had 6 times more dead talibans than GIs or allies.

We dont lose, we can win tomorrow if we would like to, we could win the war witout losing any soldier, we can launch rockets from USA down to the talibans even without entering your contry with a single solider XD

  • @JSLegoMaster The numbers of casualties on the talibans side mean nothing, if they STILL have the upper hand in the situation. And americans are losing to talibansregardless of how many they kill, it comes more.

  • @UltimoLatino america is already defeated they are trying to sue for peace with the taliban, to open talks, just a few years ago they were all gung ho how they were gonna whup the taliban etc, america for all its technology and billions of dollars, military academies etc make the efforts of america quite dismal. When it comes down to it it depends on tactics and courage

  • @UltimoLatino they will be killed by paper cuts.. there objective is unclear

  • @UltimoLatino though your comment is old; i agree: only 1 man really did conquer afghanistan and that was Alexander the Great..

  • @Baseballschaap I conquered it in Empire Total War xD

  • America IS going to lose in Afghanistan, because they're taking everything away from the country and its people, which makes the people have nothing to lose, and just makes them pissed at America. so they join the taliban, and this causes the taliban to have seemingly infinite numbers...so American greed is causeing us(the coalition) to lose. of course, America might know this and just sees this war as a means of free oil(canada and the uk almost had the war won until the us did this) =/

  • @pwnyinatincan How UK and Canada had almost the war won? Explain that to me, I wanna learn. :)

  • @UltimoLatino do you really think a bunch of towlheads read the art of war... didn't think so, there is no way in a million years we could lose in Afghanistan or iraq.

  • @NHLbamboon They only read the Koran.

But the US are bad at war too. Exept in open terrains, all the weponary of the US is for open terrains they don't have Jungle Rambos not even the Navy SEALs are Rambos. I think it could be easy to win aginst US if you know the right strategies.

Or even better you have the creativity to create new ones.

  • @UltimoLatino ya i know. we need to re-learn the art of war before we go into wars like this

  • @UltimoLatino it's all about the long term, though you don't lose like north korea, you lose like north korea. though you don't lose like vietnam you lose like vietnam finacially. though afghanistan doesn't lose the war, they will lose the financial support. you're fucken stupid.

  • @UltimoLatino Only with Stealth and Speed will our boys be able to defeat the terrorists.

  • @UltimoLatino Its good that US loose that unjust war in Afghanistan.

  • @timotimekvej We are smoking the Taliban right now!!! As long as we keep both the Taliban and Al Quaeda distracted in Afghanistan America will be safe!! We lost 26 thousand Marines in three weeks taking Iwo Jima and so far combining the First Gulf War, Second Gulf War and Afghanistan we have lost under 10 thousand and yest that is a terrible loss but its a lot less than what we will lose if we get hit in the U.S.!! BTW The Russians got their asses handed to them in Afghanistan and LOST!!!

  • @HDNKR Just to make things clear, the reasons the russians lost in Afghanistan is due to America giving the Afghans weapons and training. SO then we come back to who is America now fighting Afghanistan! does everyone else see the humility that is war.

  • @silverhawk505 One day friends the next day enemies.......is that really so unusual?? Its life and its really strange how so many find it hard to comprehend using one against another to benefit the ultimate goal of winning. America didnt become America by sitting on the sidelines and watching. I think America has always been committed to doing the right thing but America is not perfect and neither is any other countries in this world. Name any powerful country and they can be accused of wrong

  • @caseyshattuck My comment wasn't a shot at America, it was just pointing out the snowball effect, unfortunatley America and many countries Like mine, Australia are now trying to get the government back up and running functionally.

  • @HDNKR

russia is near to Afganistan or USA in world map. did Afagan attack russia after winning in 90s? we know its not then how would u think they will attack USA if USA left the country!!!!! is this not a deception?

    Peace!

  • @HDNKR the U.S will and are losing the war for one the U.S just like the British dont have any fighting spirit which is why you rely on technology but in the end its worthless cause the spirit of the heart is unbreakable and its something that your born with cant be taught so which is why many americans are already giving up mentally coming home and protesting agianst the war and commiting suicide, the Taliban have already broken down the U.S mentally it will be another vietnam just matter time.

  • @acuragsr4 No fighting spirit??? Is fighting spirit killing innocent people by way of suicide bombings?? Is fighting spirit dressing in womens clothes like the Taliban to avoid fighting??? No my friend the Taliban are losing as we speak and what is wonderful is we can eliminate them in a foreign country and avoid collateral damage in America!!! Thats right our drones are picking off the Taliban leadership daily like shooting ducks in a barrel! I dont care if we stay in Afghanistan 4 ever!
