thats not entirely true, i believe it is much easier to type on a physical keypad than a touchscreen. because people aren't willing to adapt to new technology, they like updated features with older but simpler hardware

It's so outdate to for cellphone companies to keep relying on old technology such as physical keys. When time for an update comes around, nearly every aspect of the iPhone can be tweaked and updated (minus a much needed 3G addition) while Blackberry's, Sidekicks, and Ocean's are stuck the way they are. Only way to fix those problems is with a whole new model.

Their comparison of the Ocean to the iPhone was stupidity at it's best. Congratulations...the Ocean phone has IM and Myspace integration. There's nothing absolutely fantastic about the Ocean. It's biggest feat is it's high-speed data network. Other than that, it's kept in line with redundant cell phone technology and has contributed nothing to revolutionizing it....unlike the iPhone

are you an idiot? for 65 bucks, yes you do get 500minutes, but UNLIMITED data. With your Tmobile, you just get the minutes without the data. And even if you did get data, you're running on EDGE which is 1/6 the speed of 3g. It kicks Sidekick's ass in phone quality and phone service.

he helio ocean is an excellent phone. but it has MANY problems: the AIM takes forever, the internet freezes (ALOT), and the phone locks automatically sometimes!!!! here's my review. because (i know this sounds weird) but i've had all four of these phones.

sidekick 3 bf keyboard/ wf phone purposes

Ocean bf graphics/wf IM; cramped keys

8525 bf music from computer to phone/ bf cramped keys

treo bf business people/ wf SLOW internet.

i think you were not using it right. i've had the ocean for about a month and the internet is actually very fast and i've never had the phone lock randomly. it locks when you close the phone, but when it is open it should not. aim also seems fine (so far).

i agree, keyboard is cramped compared to a treo or other smart phones and is laid out too wide. but now i'm used to it instead of the treo...

One thing to note, is that Helio now has the ALL IN plan (which I just signed up on).. $150 for unlimited Voice AND Data.. No other service provider is giving that. Plus you're on Sprint's 3G network which is hands the the fastest out there.. You also have to realize that you aren't supporting the huge conglomerate AT&T who is trying to take over the world. That alone gave Helio my support and I'm continuing to tell people about this company!
