the very 1st concert I ever saw was Goose Creek Symphony at My Old Kentucky Home when i was just about starting school. I've seen them there a few times and I still love them.
I think it's called brown grass...whutever..I've loved them since Music Park in Rutherfordton, NC, 1997...it's something more special than words! Let the goose loose!
Well not really bluegrass. Bluegrass is all acoustic, no drums, no horns. I would put this as god old southern country rock. But it is good stuff, been listening to GCS since the '70s.
Ihave been a long time fan of GCS and have traveled to Kentucky and points beyond to see then perform. The last show I seen was in Asheville NC last year. They never disappoint.
I remember seeing the Goose at Morehead State in 1974, 75 and inviting them out to the house to pick and grin with my husband while I fixed breakfast for about 26 to 28 the next morning....Great Memories!!
This is fantastic, I had this album back in my hip-high, hippie days. Wearing my old navy dungarees and long hair down to my shoulders. I was trippin. LOL
