  • Wow, hands down my favorite piece on vibes I've heard to date. Just unreal, completely transports me in a way not much music does. Thank you for making this available.

  • Very lovely, as is the music ;-)

  • Very Relaxing

  • I'm in love with this song! It's so soothing. I really want a vibraphone!

  • beautiful playing

  • @koopameat there's a half hour version of this played by a quartet that i'm sure you'd like if you enjoy this. check out the albums by Sunwrae..

  • ohmygod i love this.

i actually am really new to playing vibes (i know i'm going to get a lot of crap for this, but i play vibes for a high school marching band) but i want to see if we can introduce completely different sounds with our mallet perc instruments.. because this is just amazing...

  • @WellHiThere631 Great! Care less about what people might think and just focus on creating great music. There's a wonderful history and tradition of magnificent marching band music. It's exciting that you are looking forward to adding to it. Don't be shy to suggest new and interesting ways of doing things – and by all means get stuck into composition. A concerto for vibes and marching band is more than a possibility … ! All the best.

  • Sounds rather like a glass harmonica... keep up the good work! :)

  • The bowing really gave the song lush dynamics which turned my thrust for this piece. You made me want to learn the vibraphone now!

  • Very cool piece - beautiful harmonic progression and the bowing in the beginning doesn't come off as an extended technique for the sake of being an extended technique but serves the composition very well and sets the perfect mood.

  • LOVE that sound, with the vibration apparatus going!!!!! :)

  • please, please, find somebody to accompany your vibraphone with a fretless bass. personally, i'd like to hear you play this with michael manring.

    absolutely love your style!!!

  • I cannot imagine it is possible to play vibraphone with a bow. The song makes me think a kind of high purity. Really great !

  • @chuckyeager997 thanks!!

  • WOW!

  • incredible!! i'ts very amazing, congratulations!

  • what a trip!!!

    amazing instrument :D

  • And the ice on the cake, the camerawork is good too. Many cameramen don't know that if there is anything interesting enough to watch about a musician playing, it is the instrument and their hands, never the face which is boring.

  • incredible!

  • ( ( (o:Beautiful music played beautifully:o) ) )

  • can't stop shivering

  • Great, Rae. It takes me back to the glorious nest of the Rockies...

  • Breathtaking.

  • Omg..this is amazing..

  • wow your music paints a picture in my mind!!!

  • Whoah, eerie.

  • Wow. Would've never thought of doing THAT. Awesome

  • genius

  • Good Heavens, that's lovely!

  • Beautiful. Love the bowing loads! :)

  • I attempted to bow, but unfortunately it wasn't loud enough for my groups purposes. Oh well, very beautiful and flowing piece.

  • beautifull

  • i love this music

  • sly raccoon.

  • This is simply gorgeous, wow. I love the harmonic movement, and the timbre is just in the stratosphere, fantastic performance and composition, thank you!

  • Dreamlike vibes, glass harp-like ambiance. Soar in the harmonics.

  • Wow, I need a vibraphone.

  • Very wonderful, inspired piece.

  • This is wonderful. I'm scoring some Vibe stuff at the moment...love the bowing.

  • Wow! I've never seen anyone play with bows before. Oh my gosh. I'm inspired!! I'm definitely going to try.

  • This is really nice !

    Great work, great feeling!

  • This is really NICE !

Such a great job... such a lot of feeling!

  • very good, nice taste of music!

At first I thought of a more experimental and disharmonic song due to the 'crooked ways', but apparently they were already 'deciphered' so that the whole thing becomes esthetic again.
