I've played on one briefly at my local Korg distributor). More practical and militaristic aesthetics aside (I'd like to see you damage the knobs on the microSAMPLER! Can't be done. Flimsy knobs were one reason I got rid of my microKORG XL).

I didn't see the manual before I played, but from what I gather it's like the next generation Koass-pad loop sampler without the koass-pad). It behaves like a very basic-level alternative to Ableton Live without the endless frills. I'm very interested

It has looper, stretch and pitch control or sync off (saw it at internet), it has secuencer too, FX and soft comunication.

These are few of it functions. If you "surf" a little, you could find some tech info and pics.

It is ugly? Ok... but WHAT ABOUT SOUND?

Pretty lame demonstration. In 10 minutes these guys couldnt manage to explain any real key points about this sampler.

BTW DMZMPLZ and sanjac1974, it looks just like the rest of the KORG micro series so why bitch? Looks have nothing to do with the quality of the machine anyway.
