I vaguely remember, think for each of the stars it begins like "there is a new star arising etc", then they repeat 5 times. That's why in the end very lengthy.

Did anyone heard of anything that there is a full version of this song. Not only does the full version describe what the moon stands for, it also describe each one of the stars. Each stars got their meaning.

I think I heard that full version before and remember that it's very lengthy but it

s inspirational though. Think it was due to some political reasons that they shorten the song.

Well that was the situation in 1969 when this song was made but Singapore has been stable for decades now. but in a way, we just went through a stormy see, the financial crisis so maybe if you look at it that way..

From the lyrics you can also tell its from that era- "five stars arising, out of the stormy sea".. probably referring to a new age after our stormy days being part of Malaysia a few years before that
