Paul Newman was for me not just the greatest and most under rated film actor of them all, but one of the greatest human beings to ever walk the earth, if one was to judge an actor's legacy by the degree of sadness felt universally by his passing then there would be no question as to who was - if nothing else - the most loved Hollywood actor of them all.

I used this song as the film "Somebody up there likes me" was the first and most enjoyable Paul Newman film i ever watched.
I was very young at the time but I still enjoy it from time to time.
Paul Newman was one of the finest actors who starred in some great classics.he will always be remembered as a great man.

Perry Como originally recorded this for the opening title on the soundtrack of "Somebody Up There Likes Me" (with Mitchell Ayres' orchestra and chorus), also released on RCA Victor records at the same time- he got a Top 10 hit out of it in June 1956, and Paul got his first success as a screen actor when the film was released that July...
