  • He's offering coaching packages online where he offers advice and a tailored program. I purchased a program but tore a ligament in my wrist before coaching began. I requested a refund last year and still haven't received it. He's also stopped answering my e-mails.

  • Anthony Ellis is a legend.

Followed his programe from OZ .. and have loved every part of it.

  • yO i followd dis guys programz yo.

I gained 12 pounds, but most of it was fat because I ate anything in the house but I did get 100 + grams of protein. ANyways, my workouts sucked, and thus the only area that I added muscle to was probly my arms and maybe thighs. Once school started, I lost all that weight in 2 months because I reduced my meals from 5-6 to 3 lOL. This was 5 years ago. 10th grade lMAo

  • Dude, i used his program.

I gained over 9lbs muscle in 4 weeks (from 144 to 153) without any supplement.

    His program works, im proof!

  • i has this book, but, man, he takes a lot of supplements, he spends over 700 bucks for 10 weeks , that's too much for a college student like me XP, anyway i'm following this 12-week program , im on week 6 and i works, just less without all those supplements

  • You're in college??? Time to take English Nikey

  • Sorry I had some grammar errors...english isn't my mother language....but I'm sure you got the idea n_n

  • I have the program and he definitely knows his shit, after having it for years i am finally following as closely as possible and seeing results :-)

  • A lot of these comments seem more credible now, there were a lot of chaps on saying they gained this and that but the other side of the coin is showing here.

Remember - Anthonys program is not absolute and was'nt subject to scrutiny when carried out. The popular ethos is eat a lot, compound weights and rest. After that you have to do your own tinkering here and there.

Check out Bulkupfast here on youtube. He's english,he is a hard gainer and he's genuine!Worth a look at...

  • I have total respect for these guys but...

    1. It is a little bit on the gay side

    and

    2. why is the white guy walking around NYC in his Calvin Klein undies?

  • LOL!! Exactly what I was thinkin linking27

  • I joined up with Anthony ellis a few years back, I followed his advice and plans as best as I could which gave me a 2 stone gain in my first year!!

  • I'm not a BIG Anthony Ellis fan..

In my opinion, something about this guy doesn't add up... ---Something fishy about this guy.

  • Anthony is one of my all time favourite bodybuilders

alongside Danny Padilla and Lee Priest

But this video is really nancy

  • Haha, respect to them really, but on the light side.... OMG This seems like a intro history for some gay pr0n LOL...

2'44 - Looks like holding hands ! haha

2'55 - Looking at posing guys ads o_O omg

3'17 - Antony reaches BIll hand ! LOL

4'02 - What is that? Look at that!

    4'56 - Working "out" together..

5'20 - Finally.. Antony gets touched by Bill!

    AHahah sorry...

  • not to mention that hot dog scene lol

  • i just finished week 12 gained about 10 kilos a bit of fat, followed very strictly, dissapointed. its just a very basic program for beginners with alot of compound lifts dont buy this program thinking you will get any results like anthony no one has, on the web site it has inspiring storys of people gaining all this muscle but no pitures what a sham....its the second time i have done this program. anyone recommend and other programs for ectos that are better???????

  • sorry.. alot of the weight i gained was from water and fat i look almost the same as when i started

  • After 1 year his weight is 179 lbs from 170 ?, 9lbs in a year ? what happened?

  • I'm an ectomorph myself, I was looking at AE's before photo, he had more pecs than what I do now that I'm almost his "before" weight. Will my chest develop like that big despite my beginning stat with little mass in my chest area? I'm like really flat and bones in my chest

  • I've been doing a lot of reading into Anthony's program on the Internet and seeing this video is inspiring! Anthony's genuine and sincere personality comes through. I'd say he has the better body than the other dude, but of course, his program isn't about having a better body over other people. Just a thought. Anthony Rules!

  • I'm doing fine, I weighed 58 kg 2 weeks back, now I weigh 60 kg now. So I'm pretty happy with my progress so far even itf it's been only 2 weeks.

  • hmmm, i would love for someone to do a utube blog on anthony ellis's program, obviously we cant fully trust what someone does behind the scenes, i gave it 95% and got fuck all, its interesting none the less, im thinking of getting back on it again just to see what happens...

  • I bought this program 2 years ago. I started at 128lbs and I am now 160lbs. I know for a fact that I would've done A MILLION TIMES better if I actually poured my entire soul and followed the program to the smallest detail (mostly eating properly) ... thanks AE! I am very happy with my results!

  • weighed 150IBs 2weeks ago, weighed 151Ibs tonight. disappointing. i was even on the diet that required me eating more than the diet that i should have been on because i still felt hungry. one thing is that i dont take creatine and wont. i would say i was 80-90% on the diet and training, very fuckin pissed, it will be twice the effort doing this shit from now on.

  • im 2 weeks in to the program(injury for a week),i weighed myself after a week and it read 3Ibs of muscles gain afer week one, but that could take into account water, food and crap so tommoro i'll submitt my weight for week two and so forth if any1z interested. so far if been 90%-100% with the diet and the training is new to me so that was a big challenge, i'm learning as i go.main thing is focus, always be resortive(-meals), use proper technique!take notes on everything you do,dont stop.

  • Do you need to take supplements to get good results?

    Does a daily vitamin work?

    Could someone please respond.

  • You will probably need Whey...

Why I say probably is because unless you can get about 1g/pound (upto 1.5g/lb weight) without it (which I doubt) then you require its assistance.

Vitamins are very important as well and you need to take them daily.

Besides Whey and vitamins I don't believe you should take anything else.

You may also want to supplement with flax seed oil for your fats and make sure you get a good ratio of protein:carbs:fats

  • For gaining so much weight, he sure looks skinny. Anthony needs to keep puttin it on. "frickin bad ass."

  • hey, does anyone know how i could contact anthony?

  • keeping track and consistency is priority, dont go hungry because the body becomes catabolic(feeds on the muscle tissue), im hopefull that it will work, its been very hard to keep 100% consistency with my life style.

  • if you mean me- im 69kg(i thinks thats around 125Ibs or so)i started it a week ago so its to early to tell if any changes took place.i completely forgot to take my fat% and weight before i started which is was stupid, the meal thing is insane because im very disorganised and my mrp shakes were to high in carbs which could lead to fat gain.i recommend you do EVERYTHING by the book as anthony explains how some small dietry aspects could lead to fat gain easily and you'll have a clearer conscience!

  • dude wtf u have bad tastes hes too big... dave beckham has best body in the world anything more muscular is rather too big

  • has anyone found it hard to increase the weight after doing a set i.e 8 reps- 15kg,next set 6 reps- 17kg etc. when i increase the weight it by 2.5 kg it feels almost 3 times heavier, i should probably add less but my arms/chest etc are so exausted after a set that i use the same weight and still perform less!!!any suggestions?

  • i started the program yesterday. if you do not have the same meal replacements, shakes etc as the diet it can get very annoying, anthony is very precise in the diet part so i recommend you order what it states i the book or elso your diet wont fit what it states in the manual i.e myoplex and ultra fuel, other than that you could get by.

  • I like AE and Bill Phillips but what the fuck is up with Bill Phillps wearing his effing underwear around New York City?

  • I did anthony ellis' gaining mass program. I started at 125 lbs and now I'm 165. His program works period.

  • hey man but before u started the program wer u a proper hardgainer or wer u always at 125 pounds or so thanks man:) is the program good... ive had it for a year bt not started and also did u follow it step by step thanks ... pls reply :)

  • i respect anothny a lot but this video seem kinda gay.

  • LOL. I thought the same thing.

  • do you guys hear the hot dog guy say "1.25"

    and AE ignores him? LOL.

  • just bought it !!!

  • shadys777, i forgot to mention that i'm very well documented about nutrition and that's why for me the free course (the e-mails) is enough. I'm kind of missing the course with the exercises but i got no choice. Go to gym and work out in the recommended way and you'll be ok. by the way I'm 1.72 m tall or 5.64 foot to get the picture about how skinny i still am

  • thanks... how much pounds did you gain in a month?

i weigh 130lbs at age 20 hoping to be up to 150lbs-160lbs

  • this is how it happened: i recently recovered after 15 months of ulcer diet and very small amounts of food during these 15 months, so for me eating only chicken and fish is not very difficult. In this month i went from 120 pounds to 127. For the 6 meals part i started slowly with 5 meals, then when i got used to it i went to 6, and slowly I'm still increasing the food quantity. it will take about one more month to be able to eat as much as recommended.

  • hey i havent bought the program yet.. is there really a forum you have access to so you can talk to other members and ask question? also what stuff do you need to buy? meening do i need some weight bench?? or other things?? i got a bowflex powerpro would that work? i remeber reading on anthonys website that you need free weights..

    fill me in people.. thanks!

  • you need free weights and a lot of good quality food, (6 meals per day - very important). For me, the free course is enough (i can't afford to buy the course anyway cause my salary is at about 200$/month and with 100$ I'll be paying my gym for 8 months). But if you are well documented about nutrition and stuff you'll be OK. I'm happy with the results. I started 1 month ago

  • 200 a month??? what the hell...

  • I must say that after 4 weeks on the free course I got 3 kg, and for me that's huge (i currently have 58 kg).I never managed to put on so much weight. the most important part is the 6 meals per day. i don't use any supplements and protein concentrates. but i don't get the part where he eats a hot-dog. I thought that that kind of food is not recommended. it's a bad example (just kidding)

  • I've seen people complain a lot about how diets don't work. Most of the people complaining didn't stick with it hardcore enough to see it through. Most quit after a couple of weeks. I lifted and ate right and in 6 weeks i went from 132 lbs to 154. Which for me, is exceptional. If you stick with anything hardcore enough, you will see results.

  • Yeah true. I went to the gym for 2 years & all I gained was 2 pounds. Then I got this program & started eating more than ever before in my life, and in 2 months I went from 120 to 142. I was like; holy crap, the most I've ever weighed! But yeah, just keep eating and keep it consistent!

  • i didn't know Anthony Ellis was so quirky and nerdy, lol. He might've been picked on a lot when he was skinny. "Badass" lol

  • name calling.. haha. I guess you're a failure at a lot of things in your life. If you're overweight, why would you get Anthony's program? It's designed for the hard gaining skinny people. You make no sense. If you're insinuating that the program doesn't work, all I have to say to people reading this is, don't let a failure's opinion affect your physical goals. As long as you're consistent and persistent, this program will work for you.

  • Ephid.. u said you're done with get-big-quick programs.. meaning you've been looking for those. You went through all that and still didn't reach your goal. Maybe it's not the programs, maybe it's YOU. Quit complaining, until you put the blame on yourself, you'll never have control and will never go anywhere. All I hear is excuses about why things didn't work out for you... grow up, maybe then things will start going your way.

  • the music that comes up at 1:10 sounds like porn music... Anthony says "this is NY city man, anything you want, anything you got"... right on.. hookers.. haha

  • I think Anthony Ellis did a steroid cycle at the end of his 12 week program. And I think if anyone wants to get as big as he did, you will have to do the same. Not that his program is bad, your just not going to see the results he did without using steroids. Look at all the user testimonials & before and after pics on his webpage. None of them look as good as he did at the end of the program. Wonder why.

  • He didn't take steroids. His program works. If you stick to the program day in day out and go all out, you will have amazing results. As for Anthony's results, part of it has to do with genetics. Another part is that he went on a specific program just for the photo shoot to look the way he did in the pic. He doesn't normally look like that, just watch the video, he doesn't look as big or ripped. He also shows you how to prepare for a photoshoot in his program.

  • How do you know he didn't take steroids? 'cause he said so? No offense, but do you beleive all of the baseball players and bodybuilders when they say the same thing? And I have read his program. It is basically the same thing that pretty much every bodybuilder knows. There are no "secrets".... It's just a bulking guide for beginners. It puts it all in one place, and is worth the read for someone who doesn't know.

  • To answer you question, I watched the whole video that this segment is in. This was a country wide competition so they were all tested for steroid use. He passed the test and so did the other 9 finalists.

  • I havn't watched the video, but I am still skeptical about the tests. First of all, injected steroid use is only detectable 60 days after last use (using the standard pee-in-a-cup method)... and if you take them orally it's only half that amount of time. He could have easily still done a cycle at the end of his program to gain that mass, then competed a year later. I will try to get ahold of this movie and watch it though.

  • dude. do you know who anthony ellis is? this guy has a best-selling 100 dollar program that people use all over the world. I guarantee you its not some BS steriod stuff

  • oh god did you say the BEST SELLING 100 dollar program!! ohmygod then there is NO WAY he used steroids. how could I have been so foolish.

  • so did you get his program to try to gain weight and failed? I don't get what your point is. Are you trying to get people not to get his program or something? I don't know if you're just complaining and whining about lack of results or not, but his stuff works.

  • No, I did read his program like I have read all the other programs out there. I have been lifting since high school.. lets just say Im way past using a get-big-quick program like his. He did a cycle and I laugh at all the wide-eyed little guys who have "the dream" of getting big in 12 weeks like him. It takes about 6 months to a year, or steroids to gain like he did. sorry.

  • funny, you say you read all the other programs out there, are you still skinny or have you reached the size you've always wanted? Lifting weights play a big part, but the most important thing is your diet. It's fun to hear people say to me "omg, you got huge". I guess 12 weeks was "dreaming" for me, well, I still got the results I wanted, so I guess dreams come true. If you're still skinny after all those programs, blame yourself.

  • Im slightly overweight, not underweight. idiot.

  • Also, there are a bunch of programs just like this out there. In his book he claims to have really bad genetics that prevent him from gaining mass, so I doubt its his great genetics as you say. Also, Im strictly referring to his muscle mass gained, not how "ripped" he looked in his glamour shots. Not only is that amount of mass not normal, it's pretty much impossible for hardgainers, as he is, to get that in 12 weeks.

  • As for your comment on mass gain, I'm guessing you got the program. How much did you gain? I'm a hard gainer too and for years I've been making excuses and complaining about how it's so hard to gain weight. When I went on this program, I shut my mind up, took away all excuses and went full out. I gained 20 lbs in 12 weeks. Not as good as Anthony, but for me, it's still impressive. You can either gain weight or make excuses to why you can't, but you can't do both.

  • and also, the after picture in the video is his picture after 16 weeks. his 12 week picture is a little less shredded. Check out his site. google it. this guy is real man.

  • remember, Anthony created this program specifically for himself, so other people doing exactly the same thing might not yield the same results. Find out what works for you... for instance, he says work out 75 min or less a day and I cut it to about 20-30 min and its really made a big difference. This is just purely opinion, but black people tend to build muscle quicker than other races. Is it possible he juiced? Yes, but I highly doubt it.

  • Anthony ellis program which cost 70 bucks can be found free on torrentspy search for Anthony ellis.

  • Just a quick update, it's been 2 months and a couple of days. I'm up 17 lbs. Consistency, day in day out, no cheating... feels good to actually have people call me big, haha.

  • hey man what have you been doing, like can you plz tell me what you do exactly everyday with the meals. how can you tell much you have to eat and have you been using supplements? I just need some guidance. how much do you weigh now and then.

  • i just followed the program exactly, with supplements. I'm 152 right now, started at 135.

  • yeah but can you give me examples of how you go through your day, or what you eat exactly and how much?? thanks scarcarnage

  • also, what supplements are you using right now?

  • it's all laid out in the program. I'm guessing you didn't get Anthony's program. Get it, well worth the money. If you've been skinny your whole life and always had difficulty gaining weight like me, this program could change your life.

  • do you look different with 17 pounds added on and is most of it muscle?

  • majority was muscle, yes. I gained 2% body fat, equates to about 6 lbs being fat, 11 lbs muscle. (just estimates of course)

  • how many meals are you eating a day? not including mrps

  • how tall is 5`10 in metres?

  • sry about that I just wanted to see if it would work and what do you know it does.. listen guys i need some help I have whey and and mrps and I started a meal plan that consistes of eating macaronnie and cheese 5 times a day and also eating a can of tuna after the mac and cheese is this a good meal plan for gianing weight. Im also drinking the whey protein after I eat. Is this good enough or can someone suggest a better meal plan??

  • Hmm.. mac and cheese.. well, I use to eat a ton of that since it's so high in calories. If you want to just gain weight as in more weight on the scale and you don't care about body fat, then mac and cheese 5 times a day will probably get you there. From personal experience, gaining weight mostly from fat sucks. I gained a lot of weight using GNC weight gainer, mostly fat, hated it.. so i lost it all. Still left with love handles even though I'm skinny, go figure. I'm going for muscle now.

  • Oh my god... did you say mac n cheese 5 times a day? That will turn you into a fatass in no time. If you want to gain the right way, eat 40% protein, 30% complex carbs (brown rice, wheat bread, etc), and 30% fats (not vienna sausage fats)

  • sdvbdsfg

  • hi scarnage, cud u give the appropriate email address u used, iv used 3 and no reply , cheers, still waiting >-(

  • hi, ANYONE, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!i attempted 2 download the program and it wouldnt work!!!iv contact 3 email addresses and NO REPLY!!! that was 3 days ago!!duz any1 know what to do ?im very pissed about it!

  • hmm, I had a password problem last week, sent them an email, they fixed it the next day. If it's been 3 days, email them again, then everyday if you have to. I never had a problem getting a response.

  • hey dude Iam about to start this and Iam phsyched I know it wont be easy but hell I want it so bad.. I decided to do 2 myoplex a day and the multivitamin (besides my regular morning bagel+lunch+dinner) thats it..other than that i will follow his program as far as working out and see what I get.. let me know what u think dude

  • cool, you're right, it's not easy. I hope you're ready to deal with setbacks and things that will throw you off course, it's going to happen, but if you can deal with it, you'll hit your goal. For your diet, since you're not following the program exactly in terms of food, just make sure you eat enough calories EVERY DAY and you should be good in terms of weight gain. Update me on your progress now and then.

  • how are you doing on your program? have you put any weight on? (muscle)

  • can i just say that anthony REALY didnt luk that bad when he was"thin", he did have tone and a bit of definition, i wonder if his plan is still sumwhat conditional, i have always been very thin, thiner than tony was and im white so i wud still have very slight doubts, but im gona give it a go anyway

  • tarot, I suggest you don't start the program until you're mentally prepared. It took me several weeks to get to the point of mentally committing to the program. I came up with a list of all the things that can go wrong that would throw me off course or make me quit and came up with ways to deal with it when those things come up, and believe me, they WILL come up. Just know the sacrifices and challenges and be prepared to overcome them and go all out. Gluck

  • This Workout kicks ass. It really works if you follow it. I gained 10 lbs. in just 2 weeks. I plan to go from 187 to 220. I am 6-4 so it's really hard but I am seeing results. I totally vouch for this program. You have to eat 6 meals period and rest as much as possible.

  • Wow, inspiring video. I just started the program yesterday 5-16-07. I must say, eating 6 meals a day is a lot of work. Preparation, planning, and not to mention still being full from the previous meal and having to eat another one. But it's on, going all out on this one. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get all my meals in on days where I can't be at home. Wondering if I should bring my own food when I go to parties.. haha.

  • Yes, eating 3 real meals a day and 3 myoplex shakes is totally acceptable. Or you could drink 2 myoplex shakes and 1 whey protein shake along with your 3 meals (it would be cheaper than using 3 myoplex a day since they're expensive). The supplements I think are necessary are myoplex, whey protein, a multivitamin, and oil (either flaxseed or Udo's Choice). You don't necessarily need glutamine, creatine, vitamin C, or calcium I don't think.

  • To assem737: You really should follow the program to a T. In his mass workbook, eat the exact diet laid out for your number of calories (i'm 170 pounds, so I'm going to eat 3400 a day, and I'm going to eat pretty much exactly what it says in his workbook for that amount of calories). And listen - you're gonna have to find a way to eat 6 meals a day. you can't do it otherwise, you just can't. bring myoplex packets and a few shaker bottles and water to work, that's an easy way to mix meals.

  • so you are saying I can do 3 myoplex a day!! and 3 regular meals?

  • I started the program at 5'11 in the mid 120s... Now I'm in the mid 160's a little over 6 months later

  • what was the hardest part about this? and what would you say is the most important tip of them all the supplements the 6 meals the burnouts ECt....?? Do I have to follow the program to the T ??

  • Following the program to the T will give guaranteed results. I didnt follow the meals schedule to the T but basically ate as much as I physically could (not fun and not easy). I counted calories and tried not to go more than 3 hours without food. I took sandwiches to work (i hate sandwiches) and snacked through the work day. Most importantly u need good quality calories, so avoid high transfatty takeaways and make big things like large roasts and pasta bakes to avoid constant cooking.

  • The number one rule is consistency in diet and workouts, especially the first 8 weeks, no days off! After a while you get to know your own body and what works for you so u can tailor your diet and workouts. as far as gym advice go's, stretching is paramount and your goal for a gym session should literally be to fuck yourself up (in a good way). you need to work your body past its existing capabilities to stimulate growth! does this help?

  • what about supplements? which are the most important to take?

  • Myoplex will save your ass since it's convenient and is pretty much a full meal. Everything else is just to speed up the process to obtaining your goal. I got all my supplements at DPSnutrition. The whey protein will last 2 months since only taking 1 scoop a day. Everything else will be gone in a month. The program has a no-supplement plan as well if you can't afford the supplements, but it's a lot more work. Anywhere I can get the supplements cheaper than DPSnutrition?

  • what did u get that you thought was most important as far as supplments?

  • In terms of weight gain, Myoplex and Udo's Oil. For muscle, creatine, zma, and glutamine. If you're willing to make meals, myoplex isn't necessary. You don't really need any of these supplements, but your progress will be slower. If I had to choose only two, I'd get creatine and whey protein and just eat a whole lot.

  • I got myself eas myoplex this week 36 servings damn it was 80bucks and the lady at gnc recommended that i get another item which had many of the vitamins and glutamine which is mega men sport i think that shall do it..

  • assem, it should've been 42 servings for around $75. Check DPSnutrition dot com. If anyone knows a place for cheaper, let me know because, yes, it's damn expensive. Well, $1.80 ish for a meal isn't bad if you think of it that way.

  • scarcarnage I did look at that however theres a difference between the myoplex original Lite and the deluxe thats why the one I purchased was the deluxe...which is suppose to have different ingredients.. where are up to with the program?

  • Oh, didn't even know there was a deluxe one. In the example of a meal, Ellis uses 280 cals for a Myoplex, which is the one I have. Yours has a bit more cals. Anyway, I'm on my 10th day, had my first week of workouts which was a bit confusing but I got through it. I'm up 5 lbs so far and the meals are getting easier to consume. I get hungry way more often now, which is good since I don't have to force down my meals anymore. How about you?

  • ye well I officially did not start honestly but I will in 2 days. I been getting all the things together however..I did try one of workouts the (first session) and let me tell ya it wasnt easy I deff need a spotter especially when doing the burnout sets.. I think 5 lbs is great keep up the good work.. afterall its all about consistancy... are you taking any other supplements besides myoplex

  • Oh ok, well, it took me a few weeks of preparation before I actually started. Getting things together as well as preparing mentally. For the burnout, if u don't have a spotter, just use dumbbells. I don't have one either. Yes, spot on, all about consistency. I'm taking almost all the supplements. But I think myoplex and the protein are the most important ones. Oh, the creatine helps a lot as well.

  • woops, thought the first comment didn't post!

  • I'm 5'10" and went from 110 pounds to 150 pounds! His book is awesome, and it works! All you have to do is pull your finger out your ass and work your bollox off! after a few weeks when you see results you get addicted to training! the toughest and most important part is the diet so don't slack on it! I got the first 35pounds using a bench and free weights in my living room, so if I can do it, ANYONE can!

  • I'm 5'10 and was 110 pounds, now with Anthony's help, I am 150 pounds! You have to train hard, and eat more than you thought you ever could, the hardest part is doing it day in day out, but it works! and after a while you get addicted to the training! its definitely worth it! (I did the first 35 pounds with a bench and free weights in my living room, If I can do it, ANYONE can!

  • I am skeptical about this program and I am not sure really.. but since you have tried it I would certainly like to ask you how you liked it and which of his tips you thought was hardest to commit to?? I work from 930Am to 7Pm and I cant do the 6 meals a day thing so thats hard for me.. but I want to gain weight so bad!!!
