Sigh... I remember when trailers were like this. No wangsty "epic" music behind every clip, they were just awesome minus all the emo baggage. They made it really interesting and fun to look at, while still being happy in a way.

I really miss this kind of animation in cartoons. Batman TAS was done so well. And it wasn't only because of the brilliant animation but the storyline would stay very true to the comics and also the voice actors are second to none. There will be no better voice actor for Batman than Kevin Conroy and there will be no better voice actor for the Joker than Mark Hamil. WB please bring THIS Batman back to life.

For a feature-length film, compared to "Mask of the Phantasm" and "SubZero", this "Batman/Superman Movie" just seemed so short, in my opinion. Only one hour long. Of course, until I found out it was just a three-part Superman episode. Mind you, this was one of the best DCAU episodes out there, but as a movie, it could have been a little longer.

Of note, the later movie, "Batman Beyond", only 40 minutes long, really let me down until I discovered it was the two-part pilot of the real series.

Joker looked this way only in the third season. It's like how Batman took the darker outfit with more black in the third season. he looked more menacing in the first two seasons. The third season leaned more towards a kid friendly appearance. They amped Batman up and added Nightwing for that reason. Also they changed Catwoman's appearance too.
