I just bought this last night at Sears. I was able to carry it up the stairs and put it together by myself. Its pretty sturdy for a small elliptical, but still heavy. About an hour to assemble.

After trying all of their ellipticals, I liked this one the best. The motion was excellent. I'm 6'4" and 200lbs and it fits perfectly.

Well I brought mines this Friday at Sears for $399 plus tx so $434. My hubby and I put it together in about 1 1/2, everything was in the box, no parts missing, thank god! Very easy to put together! Now the workout, well lets just say within 15 mins, I was sweating like crazy and it was only on level 2, the best cardio workout right at home ever! Im soooo happy I spend the money, no regrets at all! I will look into the adaptor like you said, thanks for the video...

Hi, I just ordered this and am waiting to pick it up. There are no dimensions listed anywhere that I can find. Can you please tell me what the length on this machine? I am just trying to figure out where it is going in my house. Also, do you like it? Thanks so much:)

@chelseajustine1 -- Regarding the size, I'm guessing it's about 3 feet by 6 feet. I don't have a tape measure handy, but it seems like it could fit on a yoga mat (for example). The upper parts of the machine don't take up much room, so even in a small room it doesn't feel like it is in the way. I'd recommend using the mat to protect your floor from scratches and sweat. Now, six months later, it's a bit noisy and creaky, but still sturdy. Overall I still like it.

@keebert -- I'm still satisfied with it. I've used it quite a bit over the past six months and it has held up well. The only thing I don't like is that it has become squeaky and creaky and noisy. When we first got it, the unit was very quiet. That was one of the reasons I bought this one over others. It's still smooth and sturdy, but just noisy. Otherwise, a good unit.

Thanks for the very detailed overview... I just got one from sears... Only took me an hour to assemble.... and you're right about the lower bolts of the arms.. they were a pain to get in... but I found that if you loosen the two bolts that hold the upper arms with the lower arms together, then it makes it MUCH easier.

Is the display backlit?

@tpstraub -- Good question. I'm sorry I didn't address it in the video. There's no backlight, the display angle isn't adjustable, and the contrast of the display isn't adjustable. This is unfortunate and surprising since most LCD (non illuminated) displays at least allow you to adjust the contrast or physically adjust the angle for optimal viewing. I'm about six feet tall and I need to bend over to see the display clearly. It's probably adjusted fine for a person who is about 5 feet tall.

@sentravq -- Right. It doesn't come with a power adapter. I ended up getting a relatively generic Nordic Track power supply from Sears that they were recommending. I think you could get the same thing from Radio Shack. The challenge is in finding the correct adapter configuration. You I need the correct voltage, amps rating, polarity, and tip size. It's probably easiest just to get the Nordic Track adapter from Sears. See the link provided in the information about this video.
