  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • When I was 12, I asked my uncle what "Looking Through A Glass Onion" meant. He told me it meant "Her pussy stinks"....Over 30 years later, I am still trying to figure out what he meant, but for some reason, I never doubted it..LOL!!!

  • @luvLins Well said :)

  • I think YOKO was the walrus. She seems to kill everything she touches!

  • john lennon must've been on his period when he wrote this song

  • See everyone thinks the line "The Walrus was Paul" refers to the cover of the Magical Mystery Tour album where they all wore animal costumes. Nope. In that picture John's wearing the Walrus costume. "The walrus was Paul" refers to a remark a MI5 officer made when he saw the badly mutilated remains of the real Paul, killed in his car wreck. (Supposedly)

  • @brnleague99 so your saying the beatles could time travel

yes thats much more realistic than an album cover reference

  • MF Don't give 2 Fucks.....

  • calling yoko the walrus would be insulting to the walrus

  • I think the Walrus was Yoko.

  • i'm looking trouht a glass onion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ALERT:paul is dead clue ahead.

  • The best bass line ever!

  • Amazin song ! Lookin through a glass onion !

  • sorry couldn´t help the temptation of not liking.

  • Thanks for the upload. It's a highly underrated song.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 Years of History in 3 Minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • Let's stop talking about jokes and clues and walruses and enjoy Paul's bass. Fucking good.

  • Who sings this?

  • @Zhucci Me.

  • @Zhucci if you can't recognize the unique voice of George Harrison you don't deserve to listen to them

  • @Luxmaxnike What are you talking about, it's obviously Ringo.

  • @Luxmaxnike Oh, THE IRONY!! XD

  • @Luxmaxnike if u can't tell johns voice when u hear it U don't deserve to comment about it or listen to them cuz u obviously haven't been paying attention thus far.

  • @carl0kil0s It was a joke.

  • @Luxmaxnike This is john

  • 'Glass onion' is (according to wikipedia, at least) British slang for a monocle! :)

  • I have a shirt thats says 'The Walrus Was Paul'.

  • @Redhotice54 I jelly :c

  • @Redhotice54 I want that shirt(:

The Beatles are the Gods of Rock:D

  • @Redhotice54 I have one that in the back reads "If you can read this, Yoko fell off".

  • To the people who think paul is dead. Your telling me that paul died, and in less then 6 months they found someone with; his bass skills, his singing ability, i guess someone could of wrote for him, and look exactly like him? you know they cant even do that when they make beatles movies...

  • @ShanePattersonStudio

dude, no one believes that urban myth anymore, there is no reason to refute it.

  • @ShanePattersonStudio by the stories they make up they held a lookalike contest the winner had surgery to look like him and speech theropy to sound like him but you know when they stopped doing tours its becuse he was right handed. But john felt guilty so he put clues in album covers and song lyrics. The walrus was paul is becuse when he died he had teeth sticking out of his teeth.A.K.A i am the walrus and the walrus was paul.By the way John was in the walrus costume.Watch the movie...

  • The Walrus was Paul?

  • look up Cranberry Sauce: Paul is dead on youtube.

    The walrus was Paul.

  • Tris is fenomenal. Beatlemania

  • Unfortunately the documentary and others clues in other songs I heard before... Leads me to conclude for MYSELF that he did die and a replacement was found.

  • "Another Clue For You All, The Walrus Was Paul."

    Did Paul Really Die?

  • @MrBankheadSoldier No. Lennon said that because Paul really helped him to made I am the walrus.

  • @PaulMcCartneyNP That doesn't even make any sense.

  • @deniseemelierose Paul helped him in making the song, And John was very glad.

    Clear?

  • @eduardo10390, thanks for the info, but im gonna go ahead and presume a glass onion is a small pile of coccaine on a mirror.

  • @joejitsu420 -lsd reference...not coke

  • oh yeah ........... why are all beatles sons the best. the beatles contributed most to music industry today ever wonder why some kids love beatles? ask yourself why did you love them too?

  • if you all really wanna know why did they break up. if paul really is dead what is the real intention for revolution 9. and backtracking ideas. ask paul and ringo.........those who dislike the beatles deserves to die

  • @awefaawefasd

what a piece of shit comment. "those who dislike the beatles deserves to die" ?

have you heard a fucking word they've sung?

  • @LegalHeroin yeah they dont deserve to die that would be disrespectful to george aznd john...what well do with those who dislike the beatles...we will take them and strand them in the middle of strawberry fields with nothing but a glass onion.

  • I was told that a glass onion is a small pile of coccaine on a mirror. Not sure if thats true or even if thats what the john was refferring to. Anyone wanna weigh in on this?

  • @joejitsu420 Glass Onion was John's idea for a name for the newly signed Apple Records band, The Iveys (later Badfinger) He liked the phrase because it meant something was transparent, yet had many levels to it

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • nope ringo is the gringo

  • @pssbdsm nope, Ringo is THE Ringo

  • search in wikipedia glass onion there is a clue for you all ;3

  • PAUL WAS THE WALRUS!

  • Does it really matter if Paul's dead or not?The music the Beatles did were and are amazing.

  • BASSSSSSSS!

  • todos comentan lo de paul, pero nadie comenta que buena es la cancion!!!

  • @thebandlounge Oh shut up.

  • Walrus is the only animal on earth whose dick has a bone. zoology lesson, thanks :-D

  • Paul was the Hippo.

  • The walrus was paul / paul took the wrong road

  • ok so palus not dead

and the walrus was john and they just fucked with everyone

  • love the ending of this song..sounds like something from an old BORIS KARLOFF movie...

  • It's the Rick.

  • You think we live in a 21st century free of great music? And the Gods come not down to play amongst us?

    Yer probly right.

  • does anyone know what paul used as a bass on this song? i absolutely love it!

  • @pianissimo5 My guess is it's his Rickenbacker 4001S. It's got that bite that Ricks are famous for and he tended to use that one more towards the end of their career.

  • @IceCow12 thanks, i've always wondered :)

  • Eleanor rigby at the end?

  • Lennon explained to Rolling Stone in a 1971 interview why he said "The Walrus is Paul." Said Lennon: I was still in my love cloud with Yoko and I thought, well, I'll just say something nice to Paul: 'It's all right, you did a good job over these few years, holding us together.' He was trying to organize the group, and organize the music, and be an individual and all that, so I wanted to thank him. I said 'the Walrus is Paul' for that reason. "You know that we're as close as can be, man"

  • @RyanCousin Thanks. good stuff.

  • @RyanCousin lol what an oddly wonderful way of showing someone appreciation

  • @RyanCousin Nice comment Paul was a genius too. But not as great as the great man.

  • Paul´s bass 1:21

  • If there is any song I want to learn on guitar, it shall be this.

  • THE WALRUS WAS PAUL!

  • What's with all the hate guys?

  • I just love the "Oh yeah" part so much!

  • I am sick and tired of the whole "Paul is Dead" urban legend. The Beatles lyrics(especially in their last few years) were POINTLESS and MEANINGLESS nonsense. It is VERY easy to "make something" out of their lyrics when it is NOT THERE.

  • @thecommenter90 True, also, you hear what you want to hear and you see what you want to see. When a group writes more than 200 songs, every hoax could have dozens of 'arguments'.

  • Ha! I love the top rated comment. How the hell did that get rated to the top?

  • @SuperSovietBear retardes thought it would be funny to like

  • @johnlennoncanimagine I'm one of them :D

  • @johnlennoncanimagine I'm one of them :D

    Personal joke. Had no choice.

  • @SuperSovietBear dur da dur

  • I suggest that if you want to discuss the death of Paul, and his replacement by William that you all look for the doc film "Paul McCartney is Dead". It is a telling of the tale from none other the George Harrison's son shortly after George was stabbed in 1999.

  • When I was younger, I asked some older hippy what Glass Onion meant. He told me it meant "Her pussy stinks"....Can someone confirm or deny, please...

  • I love John's voice

    I love Paul's harmonies

why do we have to die

  • vote up if your looking through a glass onion

  • "well here's another clue for you all,the warlus was paul." when heard backwards it says,"Paul took the wrong road" ....thumps up if you agree with me :3

  • im the onion

  • got this CD for Christmas :)

  • @JustSomeGuyOk i also got this cd for christmas

  • this song absolutly fucked up everyting we ever knew about the beatles. yeah....

  • onions in 3D :)

  • Good 1:48 to 2:20 :D

  • @ArKiiiuZ xD!

  • the walrus was paul?

  • @minnaNintendoNerd no you fool, john

  • Comment removed

  • @inspiredbyshikari shut up

  • Comment removed

  • @minnaNintendoNerd Yeah, & "You know we're as close as can be, man".

  • @minnaNintendoNerd yes it was maybe idk its cause of the Paul is dead rumor not true D:

  • Comment removed

  • @minnaNintendoNerd Ferris Beuller makes the mistake of calling John the walrus :D

  • @minnaNintendoNerd I Knew it!

  • @minnaNintendoNerd Only if you're looking through a glass onion.

  • @minnaNintendoNerd Probably another reference to "Paul is dead" that we are yet to understand

  • @minnaNintendoNerd

When Paul Died In The Car Crash Of 1966, He Was Decapitated And His Face Made Him Look Like A Walrus, But In The Song "I Am The Walrus" John Claims To Be Him Because He Didn't Want Paul To Be Dead.....They Tried To Give Us Sooo Many Hints But, We Just Didn't See :(

  • @wardensmaiden99 what? do you acutally believe that

  • @wardensmaiden99 Paul McCartney is NOT dead, that was an urban legend, anyone with ANY common scene can see that you retard. Those so called "hints" were all meaningless and lighthearted pictures, and they were not meant to convey a message because there WAS NO MESSAGE. Just coincidences people pointed out to stir up commotion. People were trying to interpret meaningless photos (such as the album cover for Abbey Road) into a theory to make themselves sound smart, yet it did the EXACT opposite.

  • @thecommenter90 Gee whiz! Sounds like the left wing/progressive movement you are describing. Amazing!

  • @minnaNintendoNerd actually John Lennon once said in an interview about Glass Onion(direct quote) "I threw the line in—'the Walrus was Paul'—just to confuse everybody a bit more. It could have been 'The fox terrier is Paul.' I mean, it's just a bit of poetry." He was not talking about Paul in "I Am The Walrus"

  • @minnaNintendoNerd John Lennon wanted to give Paul some support because this is when he was obsessed with Ono so he was just trying to give Paul some credit and remind him that he's still his bud.

  • @minnaNintendoNerd in the glass onion yes.

  • @minnaNintendoNerd that of course means he's dead

    haha just playin

  • @minnaNintendoNerd Really the walrus was John. Later, Lennon as single in a song called "God" said: I was the Walrus.

  • love this song :D

  • ahhhh
