  • I'd make more 3d printers...

  • @rhyboy1 You can actually do that with reprap.

  • YOU COULD DOWNLOAD A TOY

  • now we can warez hardware

  • but will it blend?

  • We will be able to print : Body Parts & food in the future.

  • @oODOVETAILOo its obsolete to print food because it had to be out of edible things and you could eat this material

  • wohhooo this is revolution. All hail to the future, this technology is just awesome

  • I thought the transmitter thing at 4:16 was the tip of a crayon!!

  • where can i buy a 3d printer

  • is it edible?

  • LITTLE NICKY

  • how did you make that belt clip on the iphone case? you made a lot of supports and cut them out later?

  • Oh ya ya ya ya ya I can have this " 3D Printer " For FITHTEEN GRAND !!!!!!!!!

  • @HarpMaster1998

check out the "reprap mendel" homebrew project - less than a grand.

  • Can it print a printer? LOL.

  • @corruptorCEREBRUM google "reprap" :)

  • @corruptorCEREBRUM

"reprap mendel" can replicate itself, yes.

  • make a chess board

  • why everybody have the same printings, is like a bunch of files you receive when you buy the machine?

  • I'd print a goddamn house

  • so basicly you can pritn up spare parts for rc cars rc planes nad legos n stuff lie kthat and or make custom parts too nice.... i realy want a 3D printer but they seem expensive

  • Can you Print a Functioning 3D Printer with a 3D printer o.O

    INCEPTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hj576

Now thats mindblowing to think about. A machine creating a machine creating a machine-replicating itself. Sounds like something out of the Terminator or the Borg from Star Trek.

  • @ZX2ManDave i have this weird feeling in pit of my stomach.. that we are doomed :P

  • Cosplay will be so much easier now. Need a pair of wings? No problem. Elf ears? Heck yeah. Anything is possible now!

  • @Asazzino I'm very impressed.

  • Print your self a girl friend buddy. j/k

  • is that iphone case too from paper?XD

  • @Vorkenstein it's plastic u dummy.

  • Could you print a dvd with a movie on it?

  • @Dizzabre No........

  • @Dizzabre what a stupid question.

  • @Dizzabre Just get DVD burner for that!

  • Zeitgeist was talking about this Rep-Rap thing and i wanted to youtube it. simply started to read the comments. i can understand being ignorant but proudfully mentioning it with some stupid jokes is really making you stupid. Thanks to people that comment now i know why The Zeitgeist Movement can not be a success.Try to read some scientific things to improve yourself or you will become printception by my slap or your printed GF will be painted to black by me if it is Trash why do you type things?

  • 3:36 raw fail

  • things i would make:

    1. bong without a doubt

    2. those cheap ass happy meal toys they make in china to sell to mcdonalds

    3. custom game console cases

    4. custom game controller cases

    5. a wrench duh

    6. a statue of myself

7.a quarter to scam those coin operated machines

  • @thebeastmodeplaya #7... okay.. spend a few dollars to make a quarter...

  • @thebeastmodeplaya A quarter is actually cheaper than the material.

  • @media1981 i mean tie a string through a hole in the quarter and pull it back out after you use.

  • plz tell me they have this at kinkos

  • Do they make a food printer?

  • "this is my famous cup, and my famous wrench, and this is my logo...nothing special about that." :P

  • uhhhh why the fuck isnt this technology our top fucking priority, do people not realize how something lke this could benifit society? I mean this thing has the potential to make furniture, clothing, even food in your own fucking home! with cheap sophisticated versions of this we could make poverty and homelesness a thing of the past, and with material/food needs easiley provided for people wouldnt have to be selfish pricks, or slaves to a meaningless job

  • @BrettJRipley

Whatever the price of the commodity (oil maybe?) this plasticky material is derived from, will skyrocket.

  • @BrettJRipley Jesus.....how old are you?

1)This prints ABS plastic. Abs plastic is non-edible, Einstein. YOU CANT PRINT ORGANIC OBJECTS.

    2) You can't dress with ABS plastic. Learn to sew and make your own cloth. People have been doing that for thousands of years.

    3) Poverty over? How are you to afford this? plus the computer to run it? the training to use it? Where do you think that raw ABS will come from? (3rd world)? Who do you think will manufacture the actual printer?

  • @jflegionario wow, arnt we a negative nancy

  • @jflegionario - you would realy like to know!!

  • @BrettJRipley

It actually wouldn't be a benefit if you think about it...how many people working for the companies who currently produce those goods would be out of a job if everyone was able to get their company's products for free? I don't know if I would actually attempt to make food with this thing though...lol.

  • How durable are these objects?

  • It's like in Fairly Odd Parents with the wish machine!!

  • does it copy how dense the object is ? like if a copied gold will it be as heavy as gold ??? please reply

  • @iRadiatedBox

It's ABS plastic, there is no way to simply change the density without additives, and no way to get anything gold-like at all from ABS printing without the use of alchemy or witchcraft

  • @pcschris sorry about my noob-ish question, but still how strong is ABS plastic?

  • @iRadiatedBox Its so obviously a form of plastic, but the possibilities are enormous...especially if used in outer space, as an example..It is sci fi...the beginnings....

  • *now

  • I want a 3d printer

  • So, these 3D printers are available to be bought now?

  • how much would a 3d printer cost?

  • dude great stuff i wish i had a 3d printer, can you make parts for 1/6 inch figures, does the machine have limitations on alot of detail ? and were can i look for prices on 3d printers ? sorry if im asking to much.

  • Your voice is funny.

  • YOU CAN PRINT FREE LEGOS OR CUSTOM LEGOS!!!

  • @m4r1o148 .. ooohh how 'bout fabricating something even better than legos!!! A CapsLock key to replace THE BROKEN ONE ON YOUR KEYBOARD. BTW the legos printed wouldn't be free cuz you have to pay for the material to 'print' it.

  • @m4r1o148 yea :D

  • nothing with graphics apparently.

  • print a bong man with cool designs on it

  • See if you can print a new voice

  • @Disposition446 Gotta love youtube commenters. Such class and such wit.

  • @wakkarat I guess... why are you talking to me

  • The silver case, what´s the material that made? What´s the cost of the 3d printing??

  • @VoyeuristicBaroque ABS plastic. Anywhere from a few dollars to a few thousand for large parts.

  • @team222badbrad of course, such printing has its limits. can you print complex machines with interior parts all at once? metal/conductors are required for electronics to work.

  • @team222badbrad Is there an easyish/cheap way to create objects from a tougher material than ABS? I'd love to do something like printing some interesting gears for a bicycle or something, but the plastic cogs would immediately be destroyed under the required torque. Can other materials be used, or would you have to make a cast and copy it with molten metal?

  • Nerd.

  • What is the tensile strength of these plastic parts?

  • print a money machine (:

  • I wanna print a xbox 360

  • can i print my girlfriend so i can have some fun?

  • is it watterproff

  • it's aweome ohw much does it cost in USD and can it be shipped to Amman / Jordan free or you have offices worldwide

  • Yes, you must print a printer & then print a printer out of that printer printing printers.

  • @WhirkSWAG Yo, I heard you like printers....

  • print justin bieber

  • This is so amazing! Thank you for sharing! P.S. I like your voice, you sound really sweet ;)

  • 4:21 Even the guy making the video appears bored by this point.

  • can you print an iPhone that works?

  • can you paint with color ?

  • @team222badbrad Hey there. l am really interested in 3D printers. l am amazed by this technology! lt's great! l have a question about it. l've also seen metal 3D printers, and you are using ABS plastic. l was wondering, could you use any material that would take a liquid form when heated enough? For example, could you also use glass? How strong is ABS plastic? l would be really thankfull if you could anwser. For some reason other people don't respond to me =/ ls it such a weird question?

  • @Pentagon1337 Printed ABS is up to 70% the strength of injection molded parts.

Most 3d printers use proprietary materials and technology. Some printers print using ABS filament, powdered material, liquids, and even paper. You can't simply change to any material you would like.

LOM, FDM, SLS, SLA, 3DP are all printing technologies. Google them for more information.

  • Where are the kids man? Open your basement door and let the kids out.

  • what would be cool if there was a scanner attach to the printer so you could place an object in the printer or search for a complex part on-line then download the data and print it.

  • If someone were to make a design based on a character from a show, would you be able to make it, or would you get in trouble with the owners?

  • THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE ! LOVE IT ! Which 3 d printer can do those parts? what kind of plastics is that? please let me know

  • THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE ! LOVE IT !

  • I want one D:

  • @GPie3k I guess you never had a blue collar job eh?

  • Print your own Lego. Infinite Lego, infinite possibilities.

  • Can you make a wax pattern for investment casting? I'm thinking of things like stainless steel pump impellers.

  • Comment removed

  • @krock9018 The reaction is deleted

  • Cool i want a 3 d printer

  • @paulweerheim ok. if you dont mind paying half a billion dollars

  • @llop990 What currency are you using?

  • @team222badbrad what other country uses dollars?

  • @llop990 Google has your answer.

  • @llop990 Canada

  • @llop990 Both Canada and the United States use the dollar as a form of currency.

  • i would print myself a houseand some furniture to decorate my house.

may also print a lambo and then a husband and some kids

  • i would so make one of me !!! can it doo that?

  • The criminals will mass produce all sorts of weapons with this to evade detection by scanners at airports such as grenades , guns & knives !

  • fuck this soon they will print universe lol

  • Is that material heat resistant of say idk 6,000 F? If it is id make a truck engine out of it and start mass producing cars and trucks

  • ohh yea, the future can finally print sex toys

  • How sturdy can this powder be? I mean.. ok you made a tool.. or a replacement part.. but can you REALLY use it?

I am not sure if you can actually use the belt buckle..

Give some examples where you can safely replace a part with a printed one..

    Thank you!

  • Where do you get a 3d printer? :O

  • if i had this. I would print all the parts of my house. then put it together. then sell it for half the price

  • can u use a softer material or a different mixture to have a softer plastic as the end result on a part.

  • Print a printer made out of printers.

  • how much does it cost??

  • id be printing replicas of cool shit all day long

  • can you print EDIBLE food?

  • @chescacastro123 There are some that can. Google "chocolate 3D printer" and you will see articles of a recently developed machine.

  • @team222badbrad this is soo awesome!! =))

  • Can you print out of a broken part/tool a functioning one? It would be a good use if you need to replace some broken parts of, say, a machine to just print working ones instead of searching where to buy new ones to repalce the broken.

  • @muzayka Sure you can print replacement parts! You just need to 3D model the replacement part to have it printed.

  • How about a real gun?

  • How about a real gun??

  • Could you print out a poseable gundam model?

  • @ThomasAtlus Sure!

  • @ThomasAtlus you sir, are a genius, I need to get me one of these

  • @linkxsc It'd have to be a lower quality high grade to prevent it from taking a few months or something to print... Oh lol. Imagine how much it'd take for a perfect grade?

  • @ThomasAtlus actually it wouldn't take longer for more complexity (except to produce the computer model itself), but on the other hand making the CG model would take a long time. The real limiter would be. Is the machine accurate enough to produce parts on a PG scale? As a matter of fact it probably would be difficult to have the machine make the model in 1 go, you'd need to make the runners of parts. Because some parts have different tolerances. You want the model to stay together dont you?

  • Hey i got a question, can you create a model with google sketchup and then put it to da printer??

  • @safaricalev Yes it is possible to print Google Sketchup parts.

  • Have you tried... Printing a printer...?

  • @OhNoesItsSarah Check out RepRap. It's partially possible, but there is still a long ways to go for it to be "mostly" possible.

  • @OhNoesItsSarah The printer will have a mental breakdown - don't.

  • @OhNoesItsSarah how about a printer that can print a printer... or maybe it'S all just in your head... deep 0.o

  • @OhNoesItsSarah PRINTCEPTION

  • @IceColdBlueSpike Yo dawg, I herd u liek printers so I put a printer in your printer so you can print while you print

  • @OhNoesItsSarah Check Reprap. It's an interesting idea.

  • @OhNoesItsSarah Printception O_O

  • I teaqch veterinary ultrasound. Can you make 3d bodies that may display different organs to either be used for teaching or for surgical planning? kas

  • But will it blend?

  • is there such a thing as getting basic designs that you can customize to help fine-tune your skills in using the printer?

  • @atareg Using the 3D printer is quite easy. The hard part is making the 3D computer model. You can make such a model with dozens of programs which cost anywhere from free to thousands of dollars.

  • @team222badbrad What are some links to the free programs I could use? I think I would need something with an .stl ending.

  • Only thing left to wonder is if it is toxic?

  • what does the printer look like?

  • where is the printer?

  • Nice work man.

  • @MixxxdVideoWatcher a used able scooter yes its possible

  • @team222badbrad How could you turn a 2D drawing on a peice of paper into a 3D object that you can print out??

  • @oeljayateskay1 You would need to send the 2D drawings to CAD modeler to have them created into a 3D model. Once the 3D model is made were all set! If it's not too complex I offer CAD modeling services. Email is on my website.

  • @oeljayateskay1 3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by laying down successive layers of material. 3D printers are generally faster, more affordable and easier to use than other additive manufacturing technologies. 3D printers offer product developers the ability to print parts and assemblies made of several materials with different mechanical and physical properties in a single build process.

  • @MixxxdVideoWatcher

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Watch my "Impossible Bearings" video.

I've personally never made the first two, but I've seen a working bike printed and a skateboard.

  • The big question and the one that matters the most. How Much??????

  • Is it possible to print 3D OBJECTS from CAD drawings or any other drawings?

What is the limitation of the size of objects that can be 3D printed?

    Thank you.
