  • omg.. Robert was so young and beautifulll. However, I still like him a lot, no matter his age or whatever!

  • the audio was probably claimed by WMG

  • There is no audio for this footage..This is taken from an interview with Robert in 1988(you can see his left shoulder on the booton left corner of the screen)..I have the whole interview and will post it as soon as i figure out how to get vhs to dvd and dvds onto here...it's a great interview, and this 20 second clip is the earliest thing you'll ever see from them...i should be able to post this fairly soon(as in 1 month or so)..Cheers Autumn.

  • this is unbelievable :O:O how did you even get this, where from?? i can't believe it,seeing them when they were so young,at the beginning of their career, thanks!!

  • huwaw! this video clip, even without audio is worthy to keep!it's even greater than full videos of other bands today!

  • Exactly!

  • where the hell did you find that

  • read the description in the top right corner

  • Great video! It's just so hard to envision that some bands had ever gotten in the van and lugged gear. But they all did it. Of course desrving contemporaries like the Wedding Present are still doing that, which is a sobering thought.

  • it's rare too see them soooooo young and soooo cute! thanks!

  • Gracias por este post

  • wow que rarisimo video!!!!

Donde lo consiguiern no puedo creerlo me he quedado sin palabras

  • 30 years ago! 1977 was the year I was born. It was that year... in September 1977 when they dropped the "Easy" tag in their name to The Cure. The video shows the humble beginnings of a "soon-to-be" phenomenal band. Nice to see a very early video footage of Robert Smith, Laurence Tolhurst and Michael Dempsey.

  • wow its so amazing how you can find pretty much anything on youtube. The clip is cool to watch (not to a non-cure fan) but its so wierd how they have changed so much

  • Boris volvete, Boris come back, Boris ritornaaaa!

  • Si, LA reliquila!

    Dios mio!! T_____T

    Tank's pour le souvenir

    Soledad

  • thats my dad! im laurence tolhurst's son. he's wondering how you got that footage. he doesnt have a youtube account himself.

  • wow! lucky

  • Yeh...right. I don't believe you but I would like to :|

  • Lol Tolhurst and Simon Gallup. When they were with the band and Robert Smith was there, THAT was my favorite era of The Cure. It was all great and I loved it up until their most recent stuff, which doesn't really sound like the Cure I like. From 70s up until '96 for me.

  • if you are Lol's son, what is his shoes size? only a real son would no that
