I can't stand most of Crass music. And, if you're forgive me, most punk rock is meaningless and boring. But the lyrics and message Crass deliver are powerful enough to have remained relevant for what? Over 30 years now? Since discovering them in the late 80s, my own life has changed immensely. And I still come back to Crass to be reminded of the things I have always been passionate about. All this time later, I still feel the same energy, power, and hope I did back then. Thanks Crass

Crass isn't very appealing to a lot of people, despite that however, they are one of the most influential punk bands of all time. Crass thought that lyrical content was more important than sound, but the sound of their music did reflect much of the subject matter--portraying the ugliness of government, war, society, religion, etc.. Crass's influence is still their, and their lyrics are still relevant. Punk is dead.

but i think u have to consider what they did as group of people more so than there music unfortunately, but there DiY ethics and demonstrations and rebellion has had a fare biger effect than there music which was sensually just a way for them to get a message across so they archived something music really wasn't their bigest concern as any Crass fan will know!
