Once I heard from a trivia question of Kasey Casem's Americas top 40, that this song was one of the highest leap in the 80's. From no. 39 to no,13 but sadly this didn't reach no,1!? It only hit no 3 spot. I wonder why. Anyway Olivia had her legend long that will always be remembered and that is Physical that went straight to no. 1 for about 10 weeks in 1982.

@handzam Olivia was on a string of hits in the 80's. "Xanadu", "Suddenly" "Magic" "Physical." "Make a Move on Me." "Heart Attack" "Twist of Fate" and her swan song "Soul Kiss." People used to be so pissed off that she shed her southern hick image to become a sexpot. So the fuck what? If you're gonna hate her being beautiful why not blame the ppl who were slutty to begin with(Diana Ross, Cher, Donna Summer, Madonna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Mariah Carey) She has her right too.
