  • madlib newbie! loving the previews of this on itunes. bout to cop. just one question though. have these beats been used on other tracks previous or are they all new to this album?

  • First time heard this, I sparked a joint just as the beat dropped and replied 'yeah' to the 'enjoying this shit right here' sample at the same time as the 'yeah' sample in the track... it was perfect and I could not have been happier at that moment :)

  • 'enjoy this shit right here'

  • This ended up being one of my favorite albums ever. Its so hard to actually get "sick of". about 42 tracks for $9.99 isnt bad. yes, he is so good that i actually buy his cd's (only artist i've done that for in years).

Each Beat Konducta album is amazing, but this one really blew me away and has so much energy and yet so relaxing at the same time.

  • When J-Dilla passed away he left a little of his talented soul for us if you love Jay Dilla its no problem, I really don't care about what them other folks say about we never knew him SO WHAT I make beats like Jay Dilla "In my own world" you do the same respect the music.

  • @HxCJo3Hxc: I dont back for nobody.... so you can fuck yoself....so do what you....and listen to that dope ass beat...bob yo head...and kiss my phat, beautiful, black ass!

  • How can you queers find the time to argue while this sick beat was playin..straight bitches...j.s..

  • It takes a lot to listen to any dilla joint any more....I get to emotionaly but I juss cant stay away.....

  • @ShaLaRock1

Was he your father? Calm the fuck down. This shit about crying for celebs is too corny. I'm sure there are better ways to pay respect.

  • Dilla's lighting up a fat blunt right now :)

  • Incredible.

  • i respect the message nas tried to get across but hip hop isnt dead. its underground, and its got way fewer ppl putting out real music like in the old days. wu tang, mos def, the roots, kanye, outkast, premo and pete, just to name a few

  • @nastynas373 kanye...? are you serious that dudes under the spot light more than a lead actor in broadway homie..he's commercial, sorry to inform you of the bad news

  • @hiphoplivs nope i agree. i just listed him cuz he made a good album this year. i admit i think its good but i hate when things are overhyped and it hate the pop sound

  • @hiphoplivs hes a genius though

  • Dilla Smiling in the sky Madlib...

    Live up Beat killa

Smile up at J STAY PAID DILLA!!!

  • The only reason anybody would ever dislike music like this, is because their mind is blown away so much, that while clicking the like button, their finger had received a message from the mind to send orgasmic expressions on that finger. Thus the mistake of clicking dislike.

  • Am i the only one Hearing the voices?

  • ppl say hip hop is dead cuz real hip hop doesnt play in the radio fam!!!

  • Just copped this album, saw it in stores and i had to.. 40+ madlib instrumentals? 20$? Shitttt.

  • i love Otis

  • FUCK HIP HOP!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WORD DOESNT EVEN EXIST. ALL OF U CLAIMING THIS HIP HOP SHIT DONT EVEN STOP TO THINK FOR A MOMENT THAT "HIP HOP" IS A MEDIA TERM NOT A STREET TERM. AND REALLY WHEN SOMETHING IS INNOVATED BECAUSE OF PROGRESS THEY USUALLY AND HARDLY EVER GIVE IT A NAME. THE ONLY TIME U CAN SAY IT WAS "HIP HOP" WAS WHEN ROCKSTEADY, THE DJ, THE MC,AND THE OG WRITTERS LIKE SEEN, DONDI, ETC, WERE ALL IN THE SAME BUILDING EXPOSING THIS "MOVEMENT" TO THE WORLD.

  • what is that faint voice saying in the backround? if anybody knows

  • @crooklynstreetkid

Nigga I was only saying this badass song is too short and should be longer.

  • @crooklynstreetkid I think he was complimenting the tune, and saying it should be longer, so I don't know how you can say he should 'go bump to Cam'ron'. Read the post before you reply to it man.

  • That's REAL HiP HoP!!!!! SoN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • madlib is the king of beats word up

  • @ize58 do yu like Timbaland?

  • "If you like to spin your own records... " RIP DILLA

  • hiphop went down with the majority of artists promoting smoking dope, getting drunk, and sleeping around with women for kicks. not to mention the ganster rap. it killed mr. tupac and mr. biggie. not surprising that it had to affect the art the same way.

  • This one would be good for Erykah to sing on. Some song about Dilla. It would be actually pretty perfect. Isnt it a Erykah sample in the beggining?

  • Jay Dilla...

    rest in beats...

how can you kill a music ? hip hop can't die, that's it. people who said that hip hop is dead, have no ideas about what the real hip hop is.

  • NONE deserves to rap to anything that has to do with Jaylib!

  • Warning rap lyrics will now be posted :) the inner complexity of my spirit is vexing me/ questioning my lyrics wondering if they hexing me/ testin me yet the microphone always beckons me/ tellin me to combine rhymes wit my energy/ mind inside a melody add my life memory/ walking through life's obstacles keep my integrity/ usin minds optical to achieve a longevity/ that is not often seen nor is it believed/ Im trying to be a legend a story a regime/ but these are just dreams inside a rhymescheme/
  • DONUTS FOR LIFE!!!

    R.I.P. DILLA

  • If you accept that the radio only plays garbage, that doesn't mean you have to accept the premise that hip-hop is dead. If hip-hop has taught us anything, it is that it is not static, binary or prone to generalizations.

  • gots to smoke one for Dilla -------->NOW!!!

  • R.I.P. J DILLA DONUTS

  • ahhhhh real hip hop!

  • dilla evaporate into the gaseous state/wish you could come back n condensate/but you up there with God, touching the sky/left music that be keeping me alive/as i arrive on the scene i be thinking of J D/wishing He could fade me/away too cause He faded you/too early barely past 30/left whilst hip hop was quite murky. rest in peace we know you in a better place/rain droplets be creating your face/on the blue background/ima never back down/Lord,my life suspend/just so i can hear that train again

  • The bassline is fire!

  • I consider myself being in the young category of nowadays' culture. 7-10-93. At least underground hip hop has me hooked so count me out from the rest of these radio/mtv/vh1/etc kids.

  • @jcsnoopy your not alone born 6/27/93 its good knowing theres still good music to find

  • @jcsnoopy word 7-28-90 in the house, totally agree im a addict for static

  • @jcsnoopy im 9 days older then you bluhhh

  • @jcsnoopy Jedi's have become more endangered as younger generations evolve. Makes me proud to know that our kind will always survive, regardless of how so very few exist in your age group although I honestly feel my age group is the worst, if not, the most delusional. 10/25/82. I was banging ghostface, raekwon, outkast, nas, scarface, reggie, and ras kass at the age of 14, just to name a few. what 14 year olds listen to now is so pathetic its unreal. May the force be with you young jedi.

  • Hip hop can never die with cats like Madlib,9th wonder,DJ Babu,DJ Premier,Pete Rock,MF DOOM,& last but definitly not the least the on liveing sounds of J DILLA. AIN'T NO FUCKIN WAY!!!

  • @john17ization THANX FOR DJ BABU NEVER HEARD OF HIM TILL I READ THIS BOUT TO SEARCH AND DISCOVER HIPHOP IS INFINITE

  • @NicolasYates

    yeah man... true

  • Too many people are saying that Hip-Hop is dead....if Hip-Hop is dead, that's basically saying that we are dead...true, the mainstream is pumping garbage. THAT DOESN'T MEAN BY ANY MEANS THAT THE CULTURE IS DEAD BECAUSE THE MUSIC ISN'T BEING REPRESENTED IN THE RIGHT LIGHT....

"Whatever's going on in Hip-Hop is going on with us..."- Mos Def, 1999

  • werd

  • @NicolasYates mannnnn this statement of yourrs is goiin international. i'm never sayin that HipHop is dead ever again

  • Lol preciate that, doe...but yea, Nas provoked the mass conscious to look at where the culture was moving...but it just means that it's important more than ever for us to take hold of the culture that we created as well as the world that we'll soon inherit...the 80s babies are turning 30, so there's no time like the present to take hold.

  • everyone has a different defintion for hip hop. today most people arent thinking about madlib when they hear hip hop

  • @other6people this would a faboulous world!

  • thats right man!
