honestly the blazer just punched it, thats gonna get you no traction, hes gonna try and slip his way up, the crawler took er nice and easy and got up no problem
The Blazer can go mudding with the heat on while it's raining and stay dry, and if it had 3in studs could drive up no problem so put on a slicker and have a blast in your buggy!!!
Spiked tires/ ALOT less weight wins everyday. Willing to bet that buggy cost more than the blazer as well. Also Blazer guy can drive his home, the buggy has to be on a trailer. I don't see the "Owned" part...
No shit the buggy got up it easier, in some stuff, pedal to the metal is the best way, in most up hill situations, crawling is the best way to go, the wheel turns slowly and just crawls up the hill rather than spinning and losing traction
So this rock buggy waits for the red buggy to move uses an entirely different line avoids the deepest ruts and the hump dug into the hill and you call that owned??? could you compare oranges to oranges??
its clearly two reasons....the driver dont know what he doing and those iroks just suck balls iroks suck ass!! get pit bull rockers or baja claws or something....
The buggy has a very very low center of gravity, thus more weight is being distributed to his front tires than we can say for the Blazer. It's not a simple matter of just "weight" as it is weight distribution.
ya the tires helped the buggy but so did the weight and balance of it. the blazer would probably have the same result with the buggy tires and he did with the iroks. IMO
lame and look at the video and pause it at 0:31 seconds into you can clearly see the bolts in the tires / spikes and even if the blazer swapped tires with the buggy the lesbian suv still cant make it ...
@BustedKnuckleVideo Though he's not using it.. He got up because of torque and the tires. Also I wasn't comparing the two vehicles when I made that comment.
@BustedKnuckleVideo no, the driver is off to the right side of the buggy, so he formed the roll cage around it! the top part of the roll cage is off to the side!
@BustedKnuckleVideo Roger that! I thought the big ones would be better...Guess not those Iroks were plugged to hell. Aint no driving going to fix that!
@BustedKnuckleVideo Well people tend to push on the go pedal harder when they stop making forward progress. In most cases that just makes it worse. The guy driving the buggy never nailed it. So I guess changing drivers might be a huge difference, however those studded tires would probably have worked even with his poor driving habits.
@Burgeezy I'm with you. Those 49s weren't working at all. Pathetic performance really...Nothing to do with the driver. If the rubber wont clear there is only on solution (more throttle) and I suspect we saw the extended results of that.
@Smokin07ram I've watched it again and the tires look caked from the start...never clear. Must be garbage tires, or it explains why the buggy is running metal studs on his.
driving in mud is about traction. you want just enough wheel spin to clear the mud from the voids but no so much that the lugs on the tires cannot bite. guy in the blazer seems to be a newb when it comes to driving uphill in the slop. thats where a guy in a jeep on 31's can outdo a guy in a jeep on 40's. its all about knowing how to drive in the terrain you are on
@BustedKnuckleVideo not to mention the spiked tires, the lack of weight and the fact that he took a different path up while idling so he didn't break traction on the mud lol.
@2drew1 well when i had my MT baja claws that had no tread at all (and i mean they just had side biters and the surface was as smooth as your computer screen) i was able to go anywhere i wanted in mud and they were only 32". my buddy with a heavy foot and 37" bfg mud terrains kept having to get pulls. its about using what you have in the proper way. yeah 800 hp sounds cool but not when a four cylinder jeep can do more with less....
The thing you have to do is not break traction. Low RPM torque and a low gear ratio like 5.73's, put it in low4 and just keep the engine running is all you need to do.
A little bit of bite helps too. NEVER break traction, if you gun it, you loose in a muddy uphill battle.
Owned enough?!?! Makes NO Sense. With the spikes on the tires it's a whole different Game...The Blazer has so much Mud built up in the tread he may as well be using Racing slicks. And the rock truck is half the weight, So I agree with AbsolutePower929!
After spending huge amount of money on this blazer and having to watch the buggy effortless , regardless of spiky tires or not the result is one the Blazer had to back off and watch . Owned

If so, then I'm totally investing in some snow threads.
Also at an outdoor show, I saw a STR version of those rhinos. They look BEAST.
