Where did WWE go wrong? There are a couple of theories: maybe it was when the other WW% sued WWF: It might've been the day Cena made his debut: Maybe it was when RAW left Spike and went back to USA: Or maybe Just Maybe it might've been when WWE put kids over their real rans: Though now that I think about it it's Cena fault. Him being all for the DAMN kids. WWE can still fix this by turning their backs on kids and bringing back The Attitude Era.

@AJ36sXe i know. that was the point of smackdown, to have a show that was towards younger people while raw was more towards adults. although if you notice back then, towards the beginning they would bleep out "ass" and blur out austin's middle finger. but after a while, they only really censored the videos of past promos and whatnot and all of the promos that were cut on the show were uncensored (except for the words shit and fuck, which they rarely used). today's pg is way different though

@a7xfan66611 Ass, Damn, and Hell are 3 profane words that are permitted under the PG rating. So, they've all been used on SmackDown. Just in recent years, Ass hasn't been used much, though the other 2 have. The PG rating then and now are pretty much the same, just that WWE pushed the limits more in 2001, than in 2011.

@AJ36sXe idk, i don't really watch smackdown. but i rarely hear any profanity on raw. this past monday, michael cole said 'bastard', and that was the first time i heard them cuss on raw for a while. and i do agree on the pushing the limits thing. back then, they made more of an effort to push the limits to beat WCW. although now they don't have much competition. unless you count TNA, which i don't because i don't think TNA has a chance against WWE

@a7xfan66611 If TNA tried being it's self and not WWE/ECW/WCW, then I think they could be in a better place than they are now. Anyway, I'm not too crazy about profanity, because amazing promos can be cut without them. I mean CM Punk has proved to be one of the greatest talkers in history and he doesn't use profanity much.

@AJ36sXe oh yeah, they could be a decent promotion. but they're making the same mistakes that WCW did in the mid 90s. they're taking WWE's wrestlers who have been w/ the company for a good while, and WWE is getting a bunch of new talent. and yeah, profanity isn't necessary to make a good promo. same thing w/ the miz. he's great at cutting a promo and making you hate his guts, he's very good behind the mic and i don't think i've heard him cuss once. same w/ john cena (as much as i hate him) lol
