the easiest way to solve the top is by chosing you top center then doing the corners and then filling in the cross.

This is called "Layer-by-layer." I like to call it reduced Fridrich because this is just limiting the possibilities of The Jessica Fridrich method.

I don't mean to be rude, or offensive to all the not-Chinese people who solved Rubik's cube - but when you're not very into the subject, it seems like everyone who solves it is Chinese, it's not true, obviously. Don't take it too seriously... ;)

If you are so inept that you can't even get one side then don't bother looking at the cube. When seemingly random people see me solve it they say, "All I can get is one side. If strangers on the street can solve a side, you must be able to. If others can figure it out, I'm sure you can.

There aren't any algorithms. I have no idea what you are talking about. This is completely intuitive. You should be doing it all on your own.

Nope. The cross and corners are done by yourself. You have to solve the cross by yourself.

To make a cross just simply get the corresponding edge under the place it needs to go. After that just simply turn it up, so it's on the good side and the other side is paired up aswell. If the colours of the edges are changed (instead of red on red and green on green side you can have red on green and green on red) just use the algorith: Fi, Ui, Li, U.
