I completely agree. I don't understand why our community is making subcategories. I'm proud of my heritage, all of my cultures, and the countries my family came from. Most of all, I am extremely proud of my skin. The only way our community can move further as a WHOLE, is if the labeling and killing stops. I'm 15, and in High School, I'm half white, half black. My skin is brown.
People often including my own friends, say I act white. They say white people are all preppy. I sit there and listen to them all talk over eachother while I'm being silent. They wonder about me. I think it's ridiculous, I might be very light and act mature, and quiet.. that doesn't make me white.

I completely agree. I don't understand why our community is making subcategories. I'm proud of my heritage, all of my cultures, and the countries my family came from. Most of all, I am extremely proud of my skin. The only way our community can move further as a WHOLE, is if the labeling and killing stops. There is nothing wrong for acting like you have good sense. I try to speak correct English at all times and teach my kids to speak correctly. I use to curse a lot but then I realized that I sound very ignorant. Some people are jealous of others who want to succeed in life.
