Marvel Vs Capcom 3 - Megaman X

I've been reading Capcom lost the rights to Mega Man when Keiji Inafune left. Akira Kitamura was the one who created Mega Man. Keiji Inafune was in charge of the artwork for the characters. He designed Zero as well, and Zero is still appearing in Capcom games, and they put X in as an alt, which indicates they still own the character, doesn't it?

The fact that X is too projectile-based of a character is total balls. He has melee capabilities, it's just he's more efficient at range. The Blade Armor and Shadow Armor are perfect examples. Like that's not good enough to include X? The only thing ranged Zero has going for him is the Z-Buster and Hadangeki, and he's categorized as a melee rushdown character. ~_~. Capcom says they want to add a fresh new variety of characters to MvC3. How can you not have X but have Zero?

i think the idea is megaman has become so iconic to the capcom title, that they had to have him in everything. so they always put him in every title they released. hell, there's a full costume with working buster in dead rising.
