I dont know how many days there were where they had no business she would work 8 hours and only have about $20 dol in tips and by law she was supposed to claim $20 do & get min wage for the rest BUT if she did then the boss would cut her hours and she would only get 12 hours on the next schedule !

Companies that already have a union are exempt. It only affects workers who don't have a vote, secret or otherwise because they don't have a union. If you bothered to read the the unbiased reports on the legislation, you would find that if one third of the work place wants a union then the NLRB will have a secret ballot election. The CEO's salary compares nothing to what the workers get. The auto industry failure has less to do with workers pay, and more to do with not putting forth the types of cars that are more efficient. The auto industry had the models for efficent cars many years ago, but did not produce them. Now when many people are looking for hybrids or other cars that run more efficiently, the US Auto industry has been left behind and auto sales reflect that.
