  • 30-storey building built in 15 days? It takes people almost two months to built a 10-storey apartment block in my hometown (a small town in China). Well, two months if there's nothing wrong with my memory (since 'Ive left China for a year). They don't have to rush it out. Slow down and better quality they will got.

  • and collapse in 15 hours

  • Reducing construction time = Income from available spaces.

  • all i want to say people is that the chinese and asian people are cool(like me)they have hard work for their children and family they work to make everything you see here in america, what you don't see is that they don't see their kids or family in the contryside and they have to get a ticket for their train ride and some will stay cause of sold out tickets,if you want to see more of what i 'm talking about watch the documentary "the last train home".

  • Pfffft! If this was in India the hotel would be built in 2 days.

And then collapse in 2 minutes.

  • That is really amazing!

  • We should all be so proud of such an amazing achievement of human kind. (PS: I am happy for immigrants of any race or colour to move to Aus as long as they're good people).

  • Japan back in the 80's sold a lot of crap and second hand things like China nowadays. What about giving them time to show their true potential.

  • @slayermbm02 Do you get more cash pissing all over the western internet? 五毛党

  • @inyourface668 Sorry if I pissed you dude.

  • This "housing bubble" bullshit is something economists said it would happen in 2008. They were wrong.

  • and it'll fall apart in 15 years. how do you generate jobs? do a bad job the first ten times. how do you inflate the gdp? spend fake money on fake labor. how do you control a massive population of hungry people whose grandparents starved to death in maoist labor camps? vids.

  • @inyourface668 Please, enlighten me on how their economy is gonna fall apart. Are you like those religion fundamentalists that predict every non-catholic country is going to fail in the long run? Maybe because they are "commies"? The majority of their population are not going to remain poor forever. They already have a gigantic middle class.

  • @Slayermbm02 Show me a country that's sustained a middle class without massive social upheaval. You need to go back to your Mencius and Laozi. Peasants, Kings, and Sages. Middle class? First signs of decay.

That aside, I didn't say the economy was going to fall apart, I was referring to the building. You think the fancy vid is convincing? All face, bud. I live in Beijing. There's a housing bubble because nobody wants to drop a million yuan on a sino-soviet cement skyscraper.

  • @inyourface668 Ok, then explain me why these buildings are so bad. Show me facts. Proof. Your words are not gonna convince anybody. Maybe because you hate China, your vision towards reality is blurred. What are you doing there if you hate them?

  • @Slayermbm02 Your pissy retorts sound like crap I hear on the radio here, which makes me think you are from China; but, if you were, then you'd have absolutely no reason to ask me for proof.

  • @inyourface668 No I'm not. I just despise the growing sinophobia sentiment all over the internet, the news, etc. When people like you say things akin to what you said before "evil, empty people".

  • @Slayermbm02 your english sucks, and you misquoted me using the word "evil". 你就是个五毛党,别装真人。呸你说的假话。

  • China is the world's next superpower. You mad U.S.A.?

  • @Slayermbm02 just sad that such a shitty empty people, the 羊氓 as the mongolians called them, are going to lead the spectacle of modern history.

  • @inyourface668 And your hatred-fueled, war hungry government is a much better one, am I right? And the ancient mongolian were such nice people too, piling, raping and murdering their enemies.

  • it's not going to colapse to earthquakes retards, watch the video before posting shit.

  • How will they get the crane down? Dont get me wrong asians are swag like that but only a level of chuck norris can get that crane down!

  • @AsianSwog With the use of a helicopter.

  • Comment removed

  • Pero estos chinitos no duermen? No comen? No cag...n? No...?

  • China..... That is all I have to say

  • why did it play twice with no music the 2nd time haha

  • wow i DON'T want to go there.

  • The speed of construction and environmental aspects are impressive but the design itself and quality of materials used is terrible

  • i was going to say only in america but i guess its more like only in china

  • And that video's not even speeded up, thats just how they work.

  • Now how fast can they take it apart piece by piece

  • The only problem is, to get the crane out off the Building...

  • @Jaroklm lol .. talk about how they got the crane off Burj Khalifa ..

  • I think design is important too.... a box shaped building might be constructed quickly, but it's not as desirable as a well designed building.

  • time shall prove everything ppl

  • i think the building was assembled in 15 days, not actually built from start to finish. they made the flooring and ceilings etc and then just put it all together. still impressive though.

  • real life lego...

  • oh my goDD

  • Are these the same guys who build the city that was complety wiped out in 2008 earthquake? If yes they can build my house anytime...like NEVER

  • 21/12/2012

    the building has been fall

  • BUILDING LEVEL : ASIAN!!!

  • @catklyst last time I checked people in America aren't hiding on boats and crossing the pacific to get to china

  • Cool. It should be assembled while part-fabricated, coz no warehouse can hold all parts in one time.

  • It may have been built "on site" in 15 days ...My question is how long did it take to pre-fab all the pieces at the shop?, how many days/hours where invested in planning?, how did the final inspections and punch lists for occupancy process take?..... it is impressive hands down despite my inquires........ but there is more time involved that is being overlooked. I can only hope that the safety of the workers was priority over deadlines during the construction of this structure.

  • hey don't take it as guarantee that china is the most able country. watch Wall Street Money Never Sleep movie and see how china still need America to invent their money

  • @utilitiez "China still need America to invent their money"? I suppose you mean, "get" instead of "their"?

  • fuck you western civilization

  • DUDE MADE IN CHINA GUYS....

  • They could have built 5,000,000 iPhones in this same time frame

  • made in china haha.. is gona collapse very fast.. and cheap labor, of course they can build it fast

  • It will fall just as fast in a quake.

  • Китайци всегда быстрые, плодяться, развиваются, строют)))

  • asians are the only people that should be allowed to immigrate to the us or europe, not once have i seen a chinese that is not hard working, they dont leech off welfare, they make their own businesses, they work multiple jobs etc.

  • @darkzerk7 you are one of those racist whites who will never understand a damn thing about hard work. So you are saying

blacks, hispanics and arabs should not immigrate to America and Europe? are you fucking kidding me. Your racism

is very disgusting. But what do I expect from hillbilly like you. I bet you are fond of little Asian boys so that's why you want them to come to

your countries. You are a typical white pedophile. I feel sorry for you.

  • @cock292 uhhh youre the only one laughing here.

  • @darkzerk7 The modern day slave.

  • @InsightNF

slave? i dont think so.. more millionaires than in america, gdp will surpass all other countries within 5-10 years, will have all the biggest industries within 20-30 years

if anything, your future kids will be learning chinese & english in school

  • @ddlanz im talking about the workers, there slaves.

  • @darkzerk7 you are a racist!

  • @darkzerk7 No, it's the asians that should not allow you xenophobic assholes to live in their countries.

  • @darkzerk7 I sincerely hope you understand that atleast half of the middle east is, infact, in Asia..

  • China was the first to ever build multi story buildings and used compacted dirt 4 thousand years ago,

  • @freepress666 ancient civilisations like the egyptians built stuff like that over 6000 years ago. it's not the country itself but the people and culture that leads to superior architecture - thus it appears that it's completly unimportant who ruled due this time.

  • Fk Ya China

  • @Ch1kenMC I guess your nation is already fucked at this moment, jealous hater.

  • @Ch1kenMC that's why your name call Chicken !

  • Made in China huh?

  • @mRchamber0id101 So what. Everything is made in China nowadays.

  • damn, this is awesome!

  • Hory Shet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think this is cool, but do the workers get paid the same amount of money that they would if the project had been 6 or 12 months long rather than one week? It seems like quick projects like this would put further stress and higher jobless rates among the construction industry.

  • @purplegal05 Um no? If you can machine parts and make them automated in a factory why would you pay a worker 6 times their salary ? No one deserves 6 times their salary if machines are doing more work or it's prebuilt. It's Preconvieved notion that North Americans deserve the money they make.

  • @purplegal05 But the 1% do not consider reduce jobless rate as its duty, rite? Especially when unions do not work at all.

  • شئ مذهل ان كان ذلك صحيح

  • the same building would take two years to be built in chile. too much bureaucracy! >:0

  • wow!

  • 中国速度

  • when will it blow up?

  • @shachikujira fcuking terrorists?

  • putting all else aside ... the 'construction' of this building in 15 days is pretty amazing -

    got to give to China!

  • look at 2:24. the timer stops at 360:00:00, but they aint done yet... still pretty fast!

  • So.. Anyone want to live in that yet?

  • Made IN China :)

  • A 30 storey building completed in 360 hours. That's 15 days. Well done! A world record.

  • And this is why China is going to rule the world...

  • @BR3WKR3W8 only if an earthquake doesn't hit them

  • @BR3WKR3W8 China will not rule the world because they can't even do anything damn good. By the time they try to launch a missile,

it will explode right to their flat slanted eye faces. lol.

  • @cock292

..and you are calling someone a racist? talk about a troll.

  • @BR3WKR3W8 No this is why China can't make anything that last more than a 5yrs without falling apart. Many of these high end Hotels are falling apart all over China after just 2-3yrs.

  • @jiggie2g that's not true

  • @janssenxiang I use Nokia, I use shirts actually MADE in my country, WITH local brands, not the crappy Chinese imitation shit, and my Nikes are crap, dude, my country produces shoes actually CHEAPER than Nike, so, no, I don't play triple, and I get better quality. Sorry, but the only things Made in China I got I haven't anymore cause they only lasted two months. I gotta buy chinese not cause I want to, but cause it's cheaper. Why? Really crappy wages. Not quality.

  • @JL897139 its not the fact that chinese people are crap at manufactoring, its the fact that this world demands too much of china, which leads to rushing things and mass production. so you cant blame china.

  • @IndiansIQis85 haha very funny.

  • @IndiansIQis85 you kiding?

  • even better than 5 hour energy, 360 hour energy!

  • Good to build loe cost apartments. I guess

  • so much hate, pretty cool that they progressed smoothly without set backs. too bad they had to make it misleading and not even mention the prefab process. Showing Ikea whats up I guess

  • awesome

  • scary!

  • Okay, that's quite fast.

  • @hunkevil666

No matter if you're in Brazil or in Timbuktu, if you're writing in english it's with Z.. saying that it's not a mistake because we write with an S makes no sense, funny that I'm brazilian and I always see on the interwebs some brazilian claiming that Brazil is with S in discussions in english, just makes us look stupid, hope you won't sue me for saying it's stupid

  • How do they get the crane down?

  • @JamesRPatrick Assuming you don't have a sky crane tall enough, you use the big crane to place a smaller, temp crane on top by the edge (scotch or jib crane). The temp crane disassembles the boom and mast and counterweights and lowers them to the ground. The small crane is disassembled using a similar process. Eventually, you end up with pieces small enough to come down the freight elevator or winched down using the window cleaning davits. Then you're done.

  • aimar shaajinaa sdakud...

  • they forgot to plan how they are going to get the crane back on the ground

  • @tombr0 seems they managed.

  • @tombr0 Duh, they build an even bigger crane and lift THAT off the roof. :)

  • @tombr0 Kung-Fu Kick from the top :)

  • @tombr0 Disassembly I think XD

  • @tombr0 They can use a derrick crane

  • @tombr0 if you don't know the construction work, please didn't commented.

  • Amazing. They really know how to pre-fab there. I see certain kinds of buildings go up really fast here in the US though. It seems like they can build a parking garage overnight. The really amazing prefabs are the towers that slowly rotate and generate electricity while your view constantly changes. Like this one: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7472722.stm

  • its game over for america man

  • @hunkevil666

If you're writing in english, then it's Brazil with Z, if you're writing in portuguese then it's Brasil with S. Writing Brasil with S in an english sentence is wrong..

  • @cawailala R u japanese?if so, I might understood what you just said,u r fuxkin from taiwan! go to eat your shit!

  • @SerenaDaya 弱智 我來自哪裡關你屁事 白癡大陸狗

  • @cawailala I despise you cause i m japanese and u r not but u pretend u r japanese

  • @SerenaDaya hes typing in chinese

  • @cawailala

    "一點新意也沒有不值一看"

Then why not just get f u c k out?

  • Well, we've been making buildings for over a 100 years, now. I'm not impressed. Who wants a building w/ the quality and equivalency of a trailer home? Anyone can build a building in that amount of time n that small w/ a round-the-clock construction workers at max speed w/ a big bonus at the end if done in time w/ no complications. It looks plain.

  • @visceralguy Are you kidding, from a technical standpoint this is fucking amazing. I'm an engineer working in Australia and the techniques this vid just showed could blow up how people even think about construction in general. Yes is plain right now, but can't you see that "plainess" is just a facade ontop of the engineering backbone? You can make anything pretty, this video just shows us that processes exist which can get shit done way faster.

  • @TTMSHU I'm not kidding. It's not amazing to me. Buildings have been rising for a while now. It was bound to happen that one would find a way to mass produce even buildings.

I'm not an engineer nor do I profess to be but that, my dear friend, is common sense. They just did it first? Great. Now everyone can do it. Next.

  • My favourite part is the comparison of air quality. Sure 20 times cleaner, but only because of the appauling quality of air in China, which they even show in their comparison

  • @screally Well, that doesn't mean that the filtration system isn't doing well. Its not the BUILDING'S fault that china's air is dirty.

  • this is actually slow a pace for a Chinese people

  • Just an explanation: those people who construct buildings, they are paid very, very well in China- even the least important jobs are paid like about 200CNY(about 32 USD) per day without working overtime. For the workers who have some technical abilities or experience, a salary of 400 CNY(64 USD) per day is just on the lowest level. And in most cities in China, 3000 CNY(476 USD) per month, or to say 100 CNY(16 USD) per day could support a family easily. So really, they are paid pretty well...

  • @thisisusi yeah

  • ojalá así se construyera en méxico ¬¬

  • I don't know why people are impressed with this. It's probably going to remain vacant for a long time. Have any of you heard of China's ghost cities. They are merely building to spend money to have money in circulation to fuel their economy. The whole world is something worse than shit.

  • @Josephjoel3 This is a hotel, not a building of apartments... Yes there are ghost cities in CHina but that's in another condition... Anyway these two issues do not have very much in common. You see this is China, a country with millions of population, there will always be enough consumers.

  • @thisisusi ...Maybe....

  • Bob the Builder disliked this 360 times.

  • And I am not shocked by any prejudice you have about China, because I am currently studying in Canada. If you have any questions about China please feel free to ask the Chinese people around you. They and I will be very happy to answer these questions since Chinese people are pleased to introduce their own culture to others, unless the question is too much offensive. Thank you differentenergy for uploading the vid!

  • As a Chinese myself, for so many times I swear at fast builders for their non-responsible work. BUT, : this time I am really really reeeaaalllyyyy shocked by these fast AND technical AND responsible workers. It is not impossible to see this since there is an old video(introduced by our professor) showing a bunch of people in the US built a house in 2hrs 40 something minutes. It is engineeringly possible, if all the workers prepare well and work well together. Cheers heroes!

  • @liuby33 I would to see that house.

  • @TheBoru2011 Please search "World Record Speed Building 3 Hour House 1min end" on Youtube

  • 15 days to build huh, I wouldn't be surprised if it collapsed in less.

  • Maybe it is China new way to reduce the population. Load it up building collapse

  • Ikea makes entire buildings now??

  • The most amazing things in this construction is the usage of only ONE tower crane compare with five mobile cranes in Ark Hotel. The tower crane operator is the unsung hero.

  • People, I introduce to you your new world leader. China.

  • Wow, though they pre-assembled it the total hours is still way faster, probably by 50%

And less waste, just the floor tile would normally be a 15% waste at the construction site.

But they should have a jig standing the thing up when the put on ceiling boards,

it's a pain to do it overhead.

  • PS - What is not accurately represented in this promotional video is how long prefabrication took? The Steel fabrication duration alone would shock the viewer back to reality.

  • Nothing new

Fire insulation? Fire separations? Fire Sprinklers? 2 separate stairwells?, 1 parking per person/unit min, kitchens/ bathrooms in each suite?

    1. Cost Efficiency (Cheap)

    2. Time (Short Schedule)

    3. Quality. Just pick the two you want because you can only have two. This video confirms that if you want speed and cost efficiency you can have it at the expense of Quality.

This projects lack of aesthetics & quality for residents makes it a non-starter in the western world.

  • How the hell do you get the crane down afterwards?

  • I didnt see any type of foundtion system going in, I guess this building is supported with skyhooks.

  • @TheBoru2011

The were driving piles down at the beginning of the video.

  • @ROBwithaB Yeah, but where are the pile heads, they would have to be substantial to bear the load of that building. Listen I want that crew on my next project its only 19 stories. The owner wants the C of O by Feb 2013, I guestimate these guy will have finished by next March so.. I get 9 months off. LOL

  • wow. the Chinese people are smart. they pre-building before they assemble it making up for a faster build project. it took a year to build my house but for the Chinese it takes 15 days to makes a 30 story building

  • So question now is: ''How will they get off the crane?''

  • I won't buy it. Heck I won't want it even if it's free. Fast property is just as bad as fast food IMO.
