you know, airsoft really isnt a matter of cheating, its more of a matter of not being able to feel it hit after a certain distance. trust me, you will know when your hit by a high powered sniper, but some aegs (350-400 fps) after 100-150 you wont be able to feel it if your fully geared.

First off a reff shouldn't even worry about getting shot because its inevitable and its part of reffing. In all honesty, the better reffs get shot more because they are near where the action is and are following players like they should be (Or they are complete idiots who walk into the line of fire). Reffs shouldn't yell at a player for shooting them, and the reffs call is final. and shields should only be used to protect players who are coming off field.

First off a reff shouldn't even worry about getting shot because its inevitable and its part of reffing. In all honesty, the better reffs get shot more because they are near where the action is and are following players like they should be (Or they are complete idiots who walk into the line of fire). Reffs shouldn't yell at a player for shooting them, and the reffs call is final. and shields should only be used to protect players who are coming off field.

Refs have sheilds for more than just blocking themselves.. being a ref myself it also lets the players around them Know they are a ref. Whats easier to tell if hes a ref? a guy in a jersey and mask? or a guy holding a big yellow sheild?

what's sad is is alot of younger kids that could really grow into the sport go for their first time up against dudes that have DM's and ramping, while they have stock tippy's. They get the shit shot outa them, and decide it's stupid, and they never play again.
So next time you see a youth group or somthin come for the first time, don't be so ready to ahnialate them. You might be shooting the next Ollie, (or whoever you wanna say)
