@TheUltimateANGER rofl at people diing out of combos in brawl. theres about 100 things wrong with that..1st off there isnt combos in brawl. 2nd you can airdodge out of hitstun so if you get knocked up in the air just spam the R button and you're good. 3 brawl is just bad...its slow..campy...and somehow its even more poorly balanced. sakurai claims to have looked at every move and every frame but he must've been fucking asleep when looking at meta knight and snake.

Falco and fox have a move like that in Brawl.

If you time it so that the laser shoots just before you hit the ground, the laser makes no noise, and you can immediately perform ANY attack.

That's slightly different... This just cancels the startup lag. What you're talking about,is taking advantage of the fact that the move has no landing lag, which has existed for Fox/Falco in every game they've been in - not just Brawl.

Oh yeah and bowser is a big target and he runs out of breath if he uses it to much which isnt effected by the cancel, he still runs out of breathe so i think it would have been cool in later versions it wouldnt have drastically effected his placement in the teir list he still wouldnt have been the best character in the game. So i think it would have been justified.

in ntsc sheik has a chaingrab for mirror matches and setup cool combos vs marth. in pal you can just DI out.

l-canceling is pressing L, R, or Z when you hit the ground and if done right cancels the lag after an aerial attack. you can also use these buttons to tech off a wall
