  • That could have been a whole lot worse. Good save.

  • wow i saw that going way worse in my head when i clicked on it. That was some pro ass saving right there.

  • That looked bad. Was that a hubcap I saw flying off at the end?

  • Hey guys watch out for muslims trying to turn your drag strips into mosques.

    Support the English Defence League

  • Mechanic "Well at least its mostly cosmetic damage and just a little wheel damage, easily fixed and it won't cost too much."

Driver - "You may want to add a new front seat to the repair cost too."

    Mechanic - "Why?"

Driver - "Cause when the car went sideways... I shit myself and that seat will never be the same."

  • whoops revlimmiter every gear 0.o

  • in the video comments posted by the person who posted the video it says "the car slipped on some wet stuff".. which i cant understand.... if there was a crash or another car blew its engine, they would clean the track thuroghly. if it was water, by the look of the track, it would have evaporated. they need to hire better track staff or teach them how to clean a damn track.

  • leave it to a woman to run the wrong way to see if the driver is okay

  • Oooooh, a 5 speed :)

  • well atleast he let off the gas like a smart fella

  • The lady is running the wrong way :(

  • @GOMEZ99Christian maybe going to a vehicle that will get her there quicker? how fast can u run a 1/4 mile?

  • @GOMEZ99Christian she was running the right direction, she had to go make some sandwiches and get the guys some beer and chips,, LOL

  • @squirrel300zx lmao! yes! finally someone else with a good sense of humor!

  • You know he said to his buddies, Hey guys! Watch this shit! ahhh, famous last words indeed.

  • It's funny how many drag race accidents happen in slow motion JUST LIKE THIS. You get outta the groove and you have a slow, white knuckle *WAIT FOR IT - CRASH like this.

  • the woman at the end was obviously thinkin omg he's dead because it was a car crash, ahh women and their knowledge of safety

  • that guy forgot rule number 5.

  • pull the chutes!!!!!

  • That driver kicks ass

  • new pair of pants needed

  • at my racetrack...we dont allow racing when its wet

  • @777ranches1 that's heat off the track

  • I am sure a person who didn't know what he was doing would've crashed a lot worse than that

  • Some people have no clue. There's a level were you have to get certified to run that number or faster. You also need to pass a full physical.

  • That guy recovered the car and put in to the wall parallel. Geat driving and a lot of luck.

You tube racers that have no cars and track videos have no idea, so do us a favor, and shut up.

  • it can be buffed out

  • Oh the humanity!

  • jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

    jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

    is a idiot american

  • This guy can't drive & that car is slow as shit!!!!!

  • @rebelticat Yeah I bet your pimped out tercel with an air intake is so much faster.

  • well hes a pro at saving his life

  • That car is bad ass.

  • amateur ? you about a car colors? :D

  • could hav been worst. good driving.

  • That doesn't look like an amateur car to me....

  • That is in no way an amateur drag race, or an amateur drag car.

  • he is obviously an amateur not because he wrecked but one example would be his shifting.. smells like "racing school" to me.. iam not 100% but thats the impression i get from this video..

  • Awry?

  • Atleast its only minor body damage not engine explosions wich are more fun

  • Eh nothin a little alcohol, ducktape, and a hammer wont fix lmao

  • wtf the f***K a v8 powerd supra they should have kept the JZ<---- up in dat bitch

  • @racingchamp101

Look like Mustang taillights to me hombre..

  • @blackonefifty but is not there supra taillights i know cuzz i owned 1 its a 87.

  • @blackonefifty At first glance it does look like a Fox body. But upon looking closely at the body line, the design of the rear quarter panel, the fact that the tail light doesn't wrap around identifies this as a 86-92 Surpa and not a 79-93 Mustang.

  • OH FOR FUCKS SAKE.

why do women have to screen during stupid shit like this? I want to murder someone.

  • give that guy a break hes probably just started

  • amateur lol?? are you kidding he is driving a 2000hp car. that locks up very well lol. i don't see how its amateur it happens. its racing.

  • @LeeMurphyRobertson that car makes nowhere near 2000hp its got less than 300 cubes

  • @fred1462 less than 300 cubes, r u serious. the cars got a parachute which means its a 9 second are faster car. way more than 300

  • @slimkuttah420 The drivers name is Graeme Simms, he is a west aussie racer who competes in super stock D/Gas which he holds the track speed record 157.06mph. This class has a lb per cube limit which is why he has such a small capacity and is still running 8's because the car is so light. If he had 2000hp he would be going a lot faster than that

  • @fred1462 apparently your stupid if you say its less than 300 cubes

  • @hEvYcHeVy101 you can back this up how? Read the post above yours explaining the car and driver

  • @fred1462 im talking about the size of the motor.....its probly a big block

  • @hEvYcHeVy101 its not. If you read my previous post I explain who he is where he races and why his car his fast. I know the driver. He has been racing in WA for a very long time. Its not a big block its a small block super stock car. It is light and that is why it is fast. He revs it to probably twice what you would rev a factory big block to. Until you can tell me details of what you know about this car dont try and tell me im wrong please.

  • @fred1462 so the motors less than 300 cubic inches?

  • @LeeMurphyRobertson everyone is a amateur at anything new

  • @LeeMurphyRobertson amature just means he does this as a kind of a hobby. probobly pays for the car and any other expenses out of his own pocket.

A pro would have big sponsers behind him and basicaly making a career out of it.

it doesnt necessarily have to to with skill or experience.

  • @LeeMurphyRobertson I think he means the driver doesn't race as a profession...

  • You can see the car goes sideways

  • no way are you kidding me??? im blind so at least i could read this to know

  • it goes sideways when it start because it to much hp for that backwheels, better?

  • @vhodoo987 the word amateurs bein thrown around too much by the wrong ppl. ie: cnn's like 'and we have a video an amateur recorded during the Earthquake in Haiti' n the video quality would be wayyy bettr than cnn's camera 'expert' crew that usually drops their cameras on the floor if they see an angry black man walking down the street..

  • @herecomethehawks18 It's because CNN's people is a professional film crew which makes their living on filming. The amateur guy is an amateur because he dosn't make it as a living. He did it because he could and because he liked to film it, where the CNN people where paid for what they were doing. The only difference between amateur and professional is if it's your job and where you earn most of your money or you just do it because you like to.

  • this guy is not an amateur in Perth he is very well known

  • Way too awry for me.

  • The coolant in the radiator issue depends on the class or race format. Many tracks run "street legal" races, and basically, if the car is registered and insured and driven to the track (not trailered), they'll not enforce the "no-antifreeze" policy for those cars. There's a lot of 9-10 second "race cars with a license plate" running antifreeze.

  • Also... this track is in Australia, Kwinana Motorplex run under A.N.D.R.A rules, which all major events are run under here in Australia. For starters we don't run antifreeze here, we run coolant. ANDRA rules are based on NHRA rules I believe. I think you are right about the classes and what they can run... Modified class here has cars running 7's that run coolant. I'm unsure about the quicker classes. But water or coolant, with that power at that speed it would make no difference to the outcome.

  • @1320runner Heck, there are plenty of 8sec cars that are street legal and insured.

  • Agree. Check out Larry Larson's Nova here on YouTube cruising the streets of Las Vegas shortly after making a pass in the 6's. Gotta love it.

  • @1320runner You know i am actually curious what kind of MPG he gets on pump gas lol. That is sick as hell that car is able to do that on the drag strip and then drive like a normal car. That turbo spool made me wet myself almost ahahaha.

  • jackass shouldnt of had antifreeze in the car anyway..not at track....wtf

  • It could've been worse, luckly it didn't flip!

  • actually the parachutes pull the car straight and slow it down after it hits the wall

  • dang that sucks, that happened to my buddies nova...lower radiator hose exploded, and threw coolant EVERYWHERE!!!! this is a much worse senario, there must have been close to 200k in that car...

  • ur not supposed to have coolant in there anyways......... anytime ur on a strip u flush the coolant out and put water in it!!!

  • yeah, if you race for a living or competitively...no rules or regulations require vehicles to have only water in the radiator during street legal test n tune nights...

  • thanks for saving me the trouble lol

  • noob

  • I agree. Something definitely happened to lose traction that far down the strip.

  • If he had realized that he had parachutes he might have had a shot at recovery.

  • sorry 2 say moron but ur parachutes dont work when u have the car sideways

  • Well it still helps some, it still slows the speed down by causing some drag.

  • I beg your pardon. My chute worked. It still comes out if you hit it soon enough and works. The chute is back up the track while you are going sideways, and it does help to straighten you out.

The wind is still there even if you are going side ways.

  • Your the moron, moron. The parachutes would have deployed and may,MAY,have pulled the car straight. But i dont think he could have popped them quick enough to help.

  • well itll help straighten it up a little

  • it acctually looks like aline or somthing blew and spit oil or some fluid on the track if u look under the car when it gets down the trck u can see brown smoke or fluid coming out either way bad deal!

  • that brown stuff was his shittin himself

  • Don't you love the stupid bitch running the other way with the camera? Bet it was great, exciting video from being pumped up and down while pointing away from the action. Quality.

  • Fucking peice of shit track. Even a Jr. Dragster would loose it there.

  • I could see that it did look like crap.

  • that was more like amateur drift car..

  • yeah it was too light to even stay on the track with that much power, do the quick fixer, 3 or 4 sandbags xD

  • car just broke lose out of the grove

  • too light & too much horsepower

400 lb ballast weight would work nice

  • nice car. little oil or tranny fluid on a tire can do this.

  • lots of tire shake

  • looks like he got off lightly

  • I think you're about as smart as a brick.

  • lmao

  • I can't even go there...

  • i think he tried to drift.

  • yeah :D i think he/she just forgot than he ISN´T on the drifting track ;DD
