Love this. This is come very good drumming. I have been air drumming to these and other Paramore songs for months now and have to say you make this look good on the real thing. I saw how you gave it your interpretation, like how you put cymbal crashes where there weren't some before. Love that!

5 Stars. This is amazing drumming. Love that you picked Paramore to do this to. I have been air drumming to these and other Paramore songs for months now. I now know what I have been doing right and wrong.
Thanks for following the link. I've always played with gloves ever since playing the drums in the St Patty's Day parade in NYC. Our drum section was told to hit the drums hard while going through tunnels & over bridges. We all came away with bloody hands - due to the extreme pressure & very cold weather. So, ever since then, I wear them to avoid messing my hands up w/ blisters. I use Zildjian gloves so they're meant to be worn while drumming.
Cold weather sux but it definitely shows one's level of dedication. I was always stuck in the basement, which was always freezing but would wind up sweating once the drumming started. I still get very hot while playing so always have to have a fan on, at least. I am not in a band. Instead, I chose to teach and there is only so much time in a day. So, I get my band-fix from doing some collabs w/ other musicians. As long as there's music to be played - I'm happy! :)
Yes, I know - I agree. But then ... the record labels wouldn't make their money and that's what they're all about. They're not in it for the music (God Forbid), they care about the Almighty Dollar ... and that's a damn shame!!!
For two of the greatest love songs that fit perfectly with the movie "Twilight" listen to "Winter Air" and "This is Love" by the band Annasay. You can hear the new Annasay songs on itunes and youtube
Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. I like his style because he thinks outside the box. He doesn't play easy beats and I highly respect that. From the concert footage I've seen of his playing - he always gives it 110%. Too many drummers take the easy way out and downplay their playing to just basic straight notes. He's not afraid to take a chance with his beats so that's why I love this guy so much. Not everyone will agree, I get that, but I LOVE his style. :)
I only found this band recently (yeah, I'm slow, I know - haha). Anyway, do you know where I can find some of his older stuff or can you name some of their older songs titles? I'd be interested in seeing how he's improved. Thanks.
This video has both songs in it. I Caught Myself starts at 4:45. If you notice, the message at the beginning of the video shows the time the 2nd song starts. I usually play 2 songs per video just cuz I don't want to have a ton of videos yet I want to play as many songs as possible.
wow!..your amazing..you played this song unique..I'm inspired by you..thanks for uploading your videos..it's totally amazing!..this video must be rate 10/10..
Hey, sorry no tabs for any songs. I play songs totally by feeling them so they change everytime I play them. It's an improvisational style so I don't play by music. Sorry.
Oh WOW! I didn't know he was featured in that mag. Do you know who was on the cover or what month it was, so I can try to get a copy of it? I'm very interested in this guys background - I luv his style. I only found out his name a few days ago when I finally checked out their site. Couldn't believe his age. Thx again for sharing the Modern Drummer mag info. U Rock, bandmom. :)
Thank you. It's funny how you use the word "make" - that's how I got suckered into electronic drums. I was limited w/room & wanted to keep peace w/neighbors, & continue playing so the only choice was electronic & forego my traditional acoustic kits. So, I sold all of them & bought a Roland. The TD-7 was frustrating but then got the TD-6. The trick is mesh padding - for bouncing & realistic feel. Sometimes the bounce is more than acoustic kits, making rolls alot easier. They're really not bad. :)
Wow, that was quick - I just posted this about an hour ago. ahaha! Thank you for the compliment - I'm addicted to this band for some reason, still don't know why ... but I am. Yes, I'm all about different angles so since I moved my drums into a new room, I will be able to move my kit around for a tons of different angles w/ different lighting too. I've got an angle in mind, which will be really cool - but I have to find the right song for it. Glad you like the video. :)
Very cool. I wish I could Play the drums, ha ha. Is it hard to learn how to play the drums? Who old were you when you learned how to play the drums?

Followed the link. Sounds very good, but how can you play with gloves on? Doesn't your grip loosen up a little?

Speaking of which, are you in a band or something?

An electronic set? What makes you use one of those? I've always found them harder to play because you don't get any of the bounce of an acoustic set.
Great job by the way. :)
