  • Nice car thanks for the video

  • could i ask you something very "stupid"...? how could you do a burnout with the front wheels stopped, and when you want, release it and launch the car?

to do this it`s necesary disconnect the rear brakes?

    thanks for the info.

  • @fuzter2007

Usually you can just slam on the brakes and push the trhottle, and the rear wheels will spin since most braking power is directed to the front brakes.

However, you can install a line-lock wich allows you to cut off the braking power to the rear brakes or either keep on the front brakes.

When you want to "launch" you simply release the brakes and there you go.

  • @meneerikke Let off of the brake, and do a real burnout. You can make almost any car do a burnout when you hold the brake. That is not a good display of power...That is not a rice car...you dont have to hold the brake.

  • @fuzter2007 a car with real power doesn't need to brake to make the wheels spin... only pussies and their pussy cars need to stop the car from movin to spin the wheels

  • @johno9445 hahahahha the reason they power brake a car is to get the tires stick for more traction.trust me i have a big block that can spin all day and yet i power brake.

  • @71montecarlo454ss ha ha ha, look at me I'm a fag..... yeah dude, u are a fag... on a track, yeah, spin them to heat them up, do u have any idea the stress u put on ur engine to do these stupid burnouts? prob not u fkn idiot, go back to drivin ur mommy's honda

  • @johno9445 hahahahaha get ur panies in a wad. man i like how ur talking to me like im a idiot.listen up dumb ass theres no reason to act like a little dick bitch just cuz the simple fact that u drive a honda instead of a real car.and by the way i know it puts a dick load of tention on my big block.its fun talkin shit to dumb bitches that think they are hard. how old are u 20

  • @71montecarlo454ss how old am I? why dont you ask ur mom... u puck bitch... I guarrenntee u coward to me in person, real tough guy online, hiding behind that screen like the bitch u are... I so fkn wish we could meet TODAY u little fagot

  • @johno9445 hahahahah only if u knew what i could do in real life.by the way ur being a hyprocrite ur the one who started talking shit to me.hahahaha look at me im a dumb fuck who dosent know whats goin on

  • @71montecarlo454ss yeah ok

  • 0:32 "MWUAHAHAHAHA"

  • dat wil ik wel eens filmen in high definition

  • respect voor deze auto mooie burnout(Y) deze auto's zie je neit vaak in nederland

  • I have officially gotten my hoosier moment of the day knocked out after watching this video.

  • The 396 is a factory big block. There are aftermarket kits now to make a 396c.i. small block or even a 421 or 454 small block. It used to be that the 377, 383 and 406 were some of the restroking choices with factry parts, but now there are all kinds of displacement kits for engine projects. I also have a 1978 Camaro. I am currently building a Big Block for it and going to use a set of 781 heads, a new cam, a 850cfm carb, headers, and TH400 trans with 4.56 gears in a 10 bolt rear.

  • hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Sweet

  • a 396 is a big block, but really it's just a glorified small block

  • The GTO is a muscle car, but really it's just a mid-size car with a big engine.

It's dumb-ass comments like these that make me want to go out and kill someone.

  • totally agree with you lol

  • yup but then again they aint worth the ammo

    Sweet Camaro anyways!!

  • @meneerikke ur a pussy too

  • @EagleEye187 What do you have against glorified smallblocks?

  • @EagleEye187 jealous ass pussy shut ur yapp

  • im hopefully buying one soon if so it has a 454 big block with 500hp ill have my burnout on here soon if i can get it.

  • lol. power brake or line lock burnout? lol. it takes real horsepower not 2 use the brakes. see how long of black mark u can leave on the street with out the brakes. take care. (:>)

  • i got one like that, its on my channel its not that good for sum reason the tires didnt wanna roast at the begining, but its worth watching

  • My dad's got one like this.

    XD

  • .....you forgot the 402, also jek1991 on page 3 makes me physically ill. Why are you looking at Camaro vids if you clearly have no idea what ur saying. I have forgotten more about Chevy cars than u'll ever know. Further more the only conclusion I can come to is that tpizzle03 is ur long lost brother....MR. "has to be over 454 to be a big block"....OMG!!!!

  • I'll give you my mom for that car

  • wow

  • some of you people who put these comments on here acting like you know something please stop for the sake of anyone who doesn't want to read bullshit.

the 396 is a BIG BLOCK 348, 396, 409, 427, 454, 502, 572 are all big blocks rate this bad if you want but please shut the hell up.

  • The 396 is a big block.

Big-block has nothing to do with the displacement of an engine, but the physical size of the engine.

Chevrolet even built a 348 that was a big block, and a 400 that was a small block.

  • @meneerikke I got a 403 small block, biggest gm small block

  • loool 0:31

    boohooohaaa

  • thats awesome, i own a 78 as well and its the greatest car ever

  • tht is not a 78 thoe

  • HOLY SHIT

  • i think i may be purchasing on of these soon... but its an automatic... where could i find a 4/5 speed tranny for it?

  • 4/5 tranny? probably cant find one on youtube... google it.

  • craigslist

  • just get a shift kit for it and a new torque convertor with a higher stall.

  • watching old muscle car burnouts never gets old (just wouldn't want to be there breathing the burnt rubber)

  • burnt rubber is good for ya

  • Alright the 396 is technically a small block!

  • 396 is a big block

  • i'm sure if you take some measurements, you will find a diffent length between the two, also the curve to the doors will not be the same, so the lines will be off and the latches wont line up

  • can i install the doors of the 78 in a 72 camaro? and the roof? i dont have money for a new. pd i'm 17 years old

  • probably not without some serious modification, and planning the panels will be differant sizes. Also if you dont brace the rest of the body when you cut the old roof away, the unibody of the car will actually split down the middle and fold like a book. chances are it will end up costing more in the long run

  • really? these doors look exactly like mine...

what is different with the 72 camaro???

  • anybody know where to get the window louvers for the back of one of these

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for showing us you know jack shit about Camaro's. =)

  • you should probably jusy disable the comments man i can't read any more.

  • @meneerikke hahaha i agree, it sucks when they KNOW theyre right, but are not, this is a 78-81 going on body style alone, and based on what you said it's a 78 no doubt. haha cheers

  • that is actually late 70's the early 70's had steel bumpers

  • what steel bumper

  • thats my point this car doesnt have one

  • @jek1991 78-81 had the color coded front bumpers, 70-73 had steel 74-77 had aluminum... dumbass

  • @jek1991 at the earliest it is a 77 camaro. That was the first year it did not have metal bumpers. 74-76 had that style front clip with a metal bumper. 77-81 had the style front end you see here.

  • @2009ROLLTIDE 77 camaro have a metal bumper, just 78 to 81 have plastic bumper

  • lol you can hear the car alarm it set off in the background

  • God I need to get my '78 runnin'. I'm driving a '94 Escort Wagon and an '86 325es... the wagon is practical, the E30 is fun... but dammit, theres just something amazing about a car like the Camaro. Especially the red headed step child of the family. The late 2nd gen. Camaro. CHEVY PRIDE.

  • CAMAROS KICK MUSTANGS ASSES

  • ....and they always will!

  • hell ya

  • amen to that

  • Nice car! Nothing like good 'ol american muscle.

  • nice camera dude that is some high quality stuff rite there

  • im about to get one like this with a 383 stroker and a 3500 stall im sure it would do a nice burn out like this too good vid

  • I have a 81 now but damn that looks like my old 78 lol good burn out.... I need to post one I am about to get new tires so I might do one that rips the tires off since I am changing the rims anyway

  • Nice Frickin Ride!

  • SIK FUKING CAR

  • What a beautiful Camaro. Keep that car for as long as possible! Then you can keep putting money into it and make it a real showstopper!

  • Thats good picture for a cellphone.

  • mooie strakke burnout echt iets voor na de streetrace :P

  • The "gutters" are called louvers. I believe they were made for sleek air flow and sun deflection.

  • what are those on the back windshield? looks like gutters i dont know the real name

  • yea, their real popular on generation 2s because the back window got so hot itd fry the back dash sometimes

  • wikit.

  • nice camaro and burnout dude 0_0
