I'll always treasure the memories of my granny and grandpa! She never wavered from her faith in God! She had alot of hip problems and pain and never once complained. Where my parents weren't very affectionate, she always had hugs, love and home made cookies! And grandpa was a character in his own right. They are dearly missed but someday I'll see them again.

My grandmother was wonderful in her old grouchy way, I never knew my grandfather. She knew when we needed a hug and a smile or just a good talking. Even though my mother in law never wanted to get to know me I made sure that our children got to know her. I felt it was important to them to know their grandparents. My grandmother taught me that family is important and can't be replaced.

My mom died when I was just 2 months old and my grandparents raised us 4 youngest kids out of 7. It was like losing my mom all over when my grandma passed I still miss her very much and my grandpa too. I love you granny....

My Youngest Grandchild will be 17 on July 7th. The three of them have been my greatest joy. I have been blessed to have them close to me the whole time they grew into beautiful caring adults.

I will miss having young ones around, Hopefully we'll have some Greats soon.

I am a grandma and have prided myself on doing my best to let my grandchildren know how much I love them.  I have a son who took my grandchildren out of my life because his wife only wanted her family in their lives and it breaks my heart. Makes me hope that when they are older they will remember how I loved them. The song makes me cry but I love it.

@utshadow I have 2 grandchildren and you need to let your son know, shame on him! It isn't his wifes fault it's his. If my daughter tried to keep her 2 children from the other side I would chew into her!! Kids need to know their grandparents! Just remember the blame is with your son, not her. Don't ever stop trying!

Absolutely wonderful! I am a grandmother and try to do all I can. I play, teach them, and share the Lord with them. My grandparents were the same. We were brought up at Christians and share the Bible with the kids. God bless you and I am thankful you also had the best grandparents in the world.
