@1dannyrios Because rock sorta died and they were left standing when disco and love ballads and metal bands took over........I suppose...........As long as we keep reaching back and playing our root music, all of us 70 hippies/rockers will be just fine!!! (Orig from Detroit here)...........
The Michigan State Fair show (8/28/09) was great with Mark prancing around and N'rG backing him up with gusto. They nailed this tune and it was INTENSE JAMMING JUST LIKE THE GOOD OL' FUNK DAYS...Just loud and kick ass! Mark was in such a good mood and great voice!
My best freind's older sister was standing in line to buy tickets for the "Shinin'On" tour 74', at the Boston Garden ticket office ,and they sold out just before she reached the window! never did get to see them back "in the day." well at least I can see it hear. Thanks for posting!!
These are such cool recordings. If you want I can put them back in sync. It's a shame they are out by a half a second or so. Let me know - I'd be glad to do any of them for you. Thanks for the great post
Thanks. It is just a "hair" out of sync I agree. And, you being such a great drummer I would see why timing is everything!
This downloaded from disc in two segments that I played with for a while to get it right in my playback. Then, when uploaded to You Tube...this is the result even using the 1 second delay rule for upoading here.

@prince8260 same for me. My father gave it to listen to me on an old vinyl when I was around ten years old. The intro riff made me fly.
One of those songs that dropped me into rock once and for all :). The goosebumps are still there after all these years.
