  • Thanks for the info mate. Don't mind getting one of them coats

  • I think you'll find ALL accents are unforetunate!

  • u mates with ray meirs?

  • I really like your knife :D Where did you get it?? And how much did it cost?

    Thanks

  • why do the titel say stone age bushcaft

  • Title says "AN OVERNIGHT STAY OUT IN THE WOODS". He has a series on his channel called stoneage bushcraft.

  • some salami/bacon, some stock if you want, some grated cheese and your soup is served...

  • Do you have a recipe for the soup?

    Thanks

  • 

  • wa-er? =P what kind of accent is that? it's great =P

  • @M44hk its called english

  • @kingfisher44 then dear sir.. english is great =P

  • @M44hk it's actually Southern England. (Only in Southern England do they say feaver as opposed to Feather!) The accent changes in the Midlands, changing again to Northern, then obviously different again as you enter Wales, Scotland or Ireland. English is great it is the main language of the world!

  • @chas4551 Well i'm from the midlands and those of the midlanders who have poor pronunciation (which is a LOT of people) the "th" in most words is replaced by "v" or "F" .

But yeah they're the most common divisions of accents in England.

The other two big ones being Scouser and Brummie (Liverpool and Birmingham) Not being limmited to the two cities, these unfortunate accents spread to the surrounding towns as well.

This comment being for the benefit of non-British-dwelling people of course.

  • how do you make you soup

  • nice video however, I thought most of the forests of England were cut down?

have a good day over there,

  • At the intro of your video, you show how to descend by using rope. Could you make a video on that? What device do you use and how you use it. Thanks.

  • I was thinking the exact same thing :)

  • @ArtisanTony I have similar spoons. They can withstand heat up to 450 degree Fahrenheit.

  • Great Video. What's the name of the knife you use in this video? Also, I see at the end you put the salami into a green collapsable cup - what do you think of these cups? I thought they were great until I had a cup of tea in them - the tea gets cold too quick. I've watched a lot of survival & bushcraft videos but your videos really are brilliant. Good work!

  • nice video as always. Hail Stonage Bushcraft!

  • PS great vids

  • Hi Mike can you tell me where you got your Woodlore clone knife from thanks

  • wat would u do if u had no embers an just started new?

  • probably use either char cloth with some dried tinder or some tinder card.

  • @gralo5 then you could use a bow drill/hand drill to get an ember, then blow it into a flame

  • if i had brought enough food to replace the energy that i had used, then ye bow drill would be fine, but its a waste of time if you have no food or water close by.

  • @wall2rockclimber agreed mate. im just sayin if youre cold and need a fire fast then thats what you do, but good point.

One of my favorite videos though!

  • certainly my friend, it will bring you to a sweat in no time lol!

  • @wall2rockclimber yupp haha no kidin

  • Beautiful knife mate. What kind is it?

    Great video. Well done!

    Thanks

  • its actually a woodlore clone

    :d

  • this is my personnel space, but i can recommend epping forest and the new forest, both very accessible for you mate.

  • which forest is this?

    good vid

  • I'm the same, group trips are a laugh but but solo lets you connect a bit more, less distractions. Good work old chap.

  • awesome video. Do you often do trips on your own?

  • thank you, yes most of my trips are on my own, i do go to some organized meets with around 9-11 people but i do enjoy my trips alone.

    mike

  • @wall2rockclimber Hi Mike,

I've often thought about solo camping, but been put off by certain things, like getting injured. Do you have any tips for solo camping?

    Cheers - Carl

  • hi carl,

i will send you a pm mate

    mike

  • This video kicked ass.

  • nice video 5/5! ive watched almost all of your videos. keep up the good work!

    PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!!

  • I really enjoyed your video! nice

  • thanks mate,

    all the best,

    mike

  • what kind of knife is that and how much was it?

  • hi mate!

    really enjoying your vids!

is it possible that you can make a vid to show how to light a fire when its raining or the woods are soaking wet?

when im out and its raining i use firepaste, but would love to know a more "natural"/survival way

    cheers from Denmark

  • the feather stick trick should work really well. There are some other vids on the internet about lighting fire after a rain, but the general idea is that you want to split wood because the insides are usually dry even if the outside looks soaked.

  • yes thats spot on, thats my prefered method but its all in the tinder collection preperation, its always best to keep some dry tinder with you and only use it when you cant collect it dry,

    hope this helps

    mike

  • true, keeping at least some dry tinder on your person, even if its just a small wad of juniper bark, is usually a good idea. takes little to no space either. Or tampons haha

  • ye thats right if you cannot find any natural tinder to keep then i would definatly go for tampons as they space save, they are vacuum packed cotton wool. Just fluff them up and throw a spark in and bobs your uncle

  • dude that water botle is really bad if its a #7

  • what do you mean mate?

it holds 10litres but i only took seven if thats what your referring to.

    mike

  • can you please do a review on your bcb ultimate survival kit and other bcb products

  • Oh my you've made me hungry! Great video, I love your how to food in the woods productions.

I would also be interested in seeing some of the camp food you create with your food sealer device.

    Bravo!
