I agree, wish it were just harp, without the band. I've been trying out something like this since I love Ry Cooder's version of the soundtrack and I play harp - its a great sound.

Hey Greg, that is a really great song with a raw and dark feeling inside. I wanted to ask: I believe you are using a harmonica in the key of G. You seem to change it at the minute 1:20, but as I can tell, you don´t really change of key but only of harp, switching from a Lee Oskar (I´m not sure) to a Golden Melody, isn´t it? The question is: the whole song (also in the album) is played totally on a G harp? That´s what I would say...
@polixetes Thanks for your comment! Actually, they are both G harps. The first one is Brodure (custom wooden harp with Golden Melody inside) and I think a reed got stuck while I played... that's why I changed the harp! On the CD version I use a Marine Band in G all through the song.
