i know the history and the origin of the art and im not talking about negativa stance when i say your on the ground. i mean flat on your back with your oppenet on top of you. thats when grappling arts come into play.
Nice moves, you can totally tap-dance your way to getting kicked in the balls with that style. Unless you plan on fighting in Step It Up, waving your hands wildly while blinding your vision will land a kick to the nads. Wanna dance in a fight, learn Capoeira, at least you don't look like a mentally disabled crackhead that has a fixation of touching his face in 52 different ways, you actually look like a badass fighter that has dance moves that are not only impressive, but useful and effective.
@LaVivaGan You sound like you have never been in a real street fight. 90% of all street fight last 60 to 120 seconds and end up in clinches or goundwork. Pugilists of any kind should be respected; be it Boxing, Wing Chun, Panantukan, or 52. In a street fight the last thinng you want to do is take your feet off the ground higher than your knee. If you only have one foot on the ground, you only have one balance point. that makes it 50% more likely you will be off balanced and stomped out!
@taqqeek I sound like I havent been in a real street fight? Get new headphones dude, I''ve been in fights since I was born. Try growing up in my neighborhood.. people jump you for shoes, clothes.. or even just looking too happy.
And that's a lie. Most street fights last 10-20 seconds. You my friend don't understand. Most thugs don't expect to get a Meia Lua to the face, or swept off their feet. Your orthodox martial arts are so predictable, youve lost before you've even fought.
@taqqeek Oh, I almost forgot, haha.. You sound as if you don't know much about Capoira.
We use Balance Aimed attacks on each other in Rodas all the time. I'm trained against it. You could push me off a handstand, or a one legged stance or attack, but I have about 30 different ways to catch myself and counter attack before you even realize.
Some guy tried it once- pushed me out of a One legged stance Fell back on my hands like a starfish and my heel caught him in the jaw, bit his tongue
@LaVivaGan your right my time are a bit longer but thats cause i count to s**t talkin before and the stomping/beating after the real fighting is over. I do know a lot about Capoeira, like how you spelled it wrong. I'm very good friends with several practitioners and instructors of Capoeira. I think it is a great art, I have studied/practiced it. My personal style it more like chinese Baguazhang (a lot of spinning and elbows).
@taqqeek whoa, you caught me on the e. Notice how I've spelled it right in every other post.
Tell me though, how can someone who's friends with these Capoeira mestres be so ignorant to it's use on the street? Surely you've seen these "friends" fight, right?
@LaVivaGan Yeah I did. can't take a joke lighten up. Anyway it is good in some intances i've used some moves before but its not the end-all martial art. It has its weaknesses just like every style. if someone smothers you or takes you to the ground. Capoeira isn't so useful. just like judo isn't very useful if you can't grab a guy cause he is striking you to death. all im saying is you should respect all styles. I posted a video of one of my friends playing around at class i know practioners.
@taqqeek I respect your opinions, but you should really not say that Capoeira is not as useful on the ground. I'm courteous, so I'll let it slide, but if another Mestre hears you, they'll turn you into a laughing stock.
It's fair enough for me to enlighten you- Capoeira is actually more powerful on the ground than on feet. It was that way, it was created by the slaves of Brazil, and is still effective for ground combat to this day. You should research the power of our Negativa stance.
Blocks are impressive....The fools who say they will hit you in the solar plexus must've missed the other blocks that you threw. Slow it down a little for those fools.
Man all yall cats kill me with what is real shit...Bro you look good. I done seen cats get the shit beat out of them who know theory but not application. Keep doing it. The fluttering of the hands will confuse the shit out of the common person then bust em in the jaw. Everybody got comments but never been in a real fight. Keep banging Bro
That was no good man, i'd straight right you on the solorplexes like after you did that for more than 10 seconds then take my shots upstairs. remember the body is a bigger target than the head and if u kill the body the head will follow. How you going do that if your winded man? That shits ok for disco dancing or brushing ur hair!
you got to appreciate he is showing off several defensive techniques in sequence, watching a clip of him fighting for example would be so different. 52 is only effective when applied to a good boxing base so saying "yeaa il cheap shot you in the body" is pretty much pointless considering what this clip is all about
it's a nice shuffle i was back in lee arrendale frm 01 to 03 and yea folks used to go crazy wit the shuffle.its crazy bcus it's a yung ppl camp and folks use 2 add mad shit to the shuffle slappn floors knees walls.
hahahaahahah MAN THIS shit is funny...................seeing this clown try to do shit i grew up on........HAHAHAHA MAN THIS SHIT IS FUNNY...........HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAH MAN this was the best shit to watch before bed i needed that
@dirtyclinchmaster What we call Africa had the 1st of martial artist. Then came the real Indians. What you call Asia received martial arts by Buddha who was originally named Prince Siddhartha...
@dirtyclinchmaster Actually martial arts have their origins in Africa. Look at Kupigana warriors on the youtube search, and Shackle Hands or Kemetic Hands. Also check out Kilindi Iyi.
@labrae tell them clinchmaster those blocks look high but its to fool you. when you come in low the elbows are dropped to shield and destroy your hand or if you were dumb enough to kick that high your foot.
OK i can tell you been watchin the videos do your self a favor find some one who really knows 52 and learn from them before you get hurt. if some one taught you this its not the real thing only memorex.
i have nothing to prove to ppl i kno what i can do and what works for me in street fight i will eat a pure heavy weight boxer alive unless he has an outstanding sprawl game i kno i wont be able to box him out...but no dout in my mind when it comes to me and jujitsu
@dirtyclinchmaster thats a bold statement comming from someone who hasnt been hit by a heavy weight. you actually think that you can deflect any thing such as intuitive combo. most men who are competant fighters in the ring have earned their heart in the street. you dont think nobodies tried to scoop them or even tried to football tackle the legs? bbj is new but weve been literally rolling in the gutter since kids. first time i saw it i was like this is some school yard stuff. and i study ma
yes, crossing your arms can block A punch, but only in one place. you give up rib protection, you give up the ability to punch back or counter. If all you do is block, you are guaranteed to lose by attrition.
how fast can you say leg kick? or double leg takedown? or faking high then blasting in the ribs? youve claimed to fight mma on other vids, but thats a LIE, you would know exactly what happens if you use this sort of stance and guard in mma.
when the punch is blocked you gettin knocked the fuck out by an elbow and maybe i give the rib protection up on purpose just so u go there and i dont need to punch back i can drop bows on your pussy ass u say how fast can u say leg kick???how fast can u say parry?
double leg take down?knocked out by knee??faking high???cute my ribs???what i want you to do..MMA??out on injury and i am successful with this guard no one has ever takin more than one bow from me and stood...come to the A we can run it !!
I doubt that very much, your punches are sloppy, you have no footwork to speak of, you dont even know what youre doing, youre just flailing your arms and hoping you block something. Parry? Ive seen fighters in the gym break their hands trying to block a kick. Still you have no answer for the takedown or any ground work, if you were taken down you would be destroyed.
Curious to know what Faris thinks about your vids but based on what I've observed from people that really do it you seem to be crossing your wrists and not your arms. And your guards are going to far back over your head. you need to bring you arms down to the point where hands cover your forehead and NOT the whole top of your head.
why dont u ask faris your self...the reason i go so high with my guard is to cover my temples a little part on the top of my head exspecially when i go down i go that high cuz ive been hit with weopons up there before best belive if its a fist fight i wont have to cover the head like that ill eat those punches
No disrespect toward you, dirty, but I doubt what you're doing is the Alto 52 just because you live in Georgia. What you're doing looks like a cross between some of the things I've seen Big K do in BTG and what harvydent7154 is doing in his vids. You look pretty decent but that don't make it the Alto 52.
well its called alto shuffle down here yes i learned a little wtaching big k do his on the documentary to tell u the truth i just seen harvy dents vids 2 days ago and i was shocked that there is so much more to it 52 in very tricky thats the beauty of it..but down here alto shuffling is more foot work than anything there r crazy with it down here slapping there knees and everything but yea big k inspired me the most cuz he looks raw wit it
alto shuffle is most likely related to 52 blocks. There has been may names influenced by difference places and since it was taught under ground in the ghettos of America I'm sure ATL has it too. It's always been about foot work though just like BJJ, judo and Sambo different teachers emphasised different aspects of what they felt was important.
as far as the flashy stuff goes it works for me i would only do that if someone is rushining in on me im not gonna say its a mimic because that has saved me in a real life situation againt mutliple attackers with poolsticks...the science of 52 for me is putting it togather with my jujitsu and muay thai
i know u fake cuz u under estimate ..... also let u kno this is my close range tactics "Close Ouarter Combat"... kicks are longrange i block kicks with knees and shins also my elbows...if it came down to it i would kick u in the groin or take u down then have my way once were doin jujitsu
