I'm getting this ball in a few days. The lanes at the bowling alley I go to for league tournements dry too fast. Hopefully the Slingshot won't hook so much when the lanes get dry

I used to average around 100ish with house balls but once, i got my slingshot I've been averaging 150-160's with a game high of 226 with a 6-bagger, I've only been bowling for less than 2 months and about 2 weeks with the slingshot, this ball is awesome. I bowl lefty and play the outside and hook in.

@snowyphil65 the improvement is not gonna be instant, it's going to take a few days to get used to the ball and to learn how it reacts to the lanes, but once you figure it out, it's awesome. Cheers!

@ehhhlazy wow tt really gives me hope. i average around 110 n im kinda stuck there with a polyester ball. :( hope to get the slingshot or some reactive ball soon.

Are all of the balls a two-piece core? Becuase on one site i was looking at , it said that the sizes 10-11 were generic cores and the others were the two-piece; But on another site, they showed differently.

@BigJchar i would look at getting a low reactive ball with you having a high rev rate

Yes I do and a thumb slug what I found out is that I actually have to let off my spin. My rev rate is way too high for this ball to handle I guess... Because the less I try to spin it, the more it hooks. I'm adjusting, I just didn't want too, I wanted a ball that could handle my High Rev rate, Guess this ball isn't able too...

@BigJchar I would go with more advanced balls, the slingshot and power groove are more beginner balls. Go with maybe the storm 2fast or look at other balls that aren't beginner balls.

I don't understand how the ball acts like it does in the video when mine acts nothing like that, I just got my Slingshot drilled and have thrown 6 games on it and I have only hit the pocket with a good shot 2 or 3 times I can't figure out how mine needs to be thrown... the white dot is above the 2 finger tips directly inbetween and the pap is just right of center between the finger holes and thumb slug... Any suggestions how this was drilled?

this balls great. I got it today and from using a platic ball. lol my curve with this ball is huge and fast. And i got the same ball as in the middle

i got mine yesterday and i loved it from the first shot . it's a nice adittion to my avalanche ( red-blue ) on our house. there's not much oil , i think is 15 units on 39 foot and the sligshot gives me just that extra bit of lenght and a better back-end response . it also hits harder than my avalanche playing the outside part . i realy love it

The Slingshot looks a LOT STRONGER than my Power Groove. Maybe I need to reconsider?

@chipchop280 no, i like the slingshot because you can play multiple patterns...it will carry down the lane then zoom back to the pocket, ive had the ball for quite a while now and it never lets me down during those tough oil patterns
