can somebody PLEASE upload this video without all of the background noise... like people put music and other random shit in the background and it starts to drown out the words toward the middle of the video and it's upsetting. i'm putting the most clear version of this speech i have on my iPod.
This man was a genius, such passion , you can clearly see it came from his heart...I can't stop listening to it,it touches you in ways you never knew they were possible...I'm just speechless
Unbeknownst to most, this speech also talks about our current "democratic" governments. Machine men will never die, for they can be recreated with a different face. I guess humanity never changes.
This wasn't ahead of it's time. It came out during the second world war. It was perfect for its time. I hate it when people think that anything good is either ahead of its time, or just coming out now.
@DivineComediann I share Ron Paul videos on Facebook and it feels like people are thinking 'WTF why is he posting that' since no one I know is really politically invovled..
1940, wow. People have been asleep for a damn long time, I'm unable to comprehend this. It makes me question if humanity CAN awake. Just saying, that was put out into the world 71 years ago, and today we're still saying the same thing hoping that one day....SNAP OUT OF IT! Lets do this today!
I'm on an iPod & can't see the uploaders full handle so I hope he/she reads the comments often. Amazing speech, badass music, try tweaking the volumes & equalizer 4 a good balance. I'd love to share this one. I also made a vid with the same music about Egypt & their Revolution, my first vid actually (Except the tryout I made to learn all the steps..). If anyone likes the Inception soundtrack, it's the FULL Hans Zimmer "Time" segment with powerful images at the beginning of the many Wonders of E
Yet, not all have heard this, as we all now can (while the Internet is still free), and must see to it that it does! Let this Freedom Song ring out, continuously, until eventually, on certain days of the year, school kids will recite it by heart.
it really makes you think, we go through our daily lives and wonder why everything is so horrible and why we go on with our day as puppets, " slaves in white collars", and the governments "cattle". the thing is, we have the power, we are the soldiers and the cattle chaplin speaks of, only we have the power to change. and once every man on this planet sees this video or videos like it. then, only then will this world change. repost this video on facebook and every social site you can think of.
I would actually describe this speech as timeless rather than ahead of it's time. As in it is relevant for all time. Striving for freedom and struggling against greed has gone on for time immemorial.

sorry to be so sarcastic, but mother earth doesn't have room enough for everyone anymore.
ColdmirrorFan01 2 months ago
@ColdmirrorFan01 I think u missed the point of the speech. The speech is about democracy and freedom not about the overpopulation of the earth.

@1950lo as i said, sarcasm. i do understand and value this speech - it is great.

.... Wonders of Egypt, and the last half has some of the best scenes from the Revolution.
Interesting the uploader felt the idea of Revolution for Freedom and Love mixes quite well with that piece as I do.
Best of luck!
Cheers.

Timeless is a better word. Just as philosophy is everlasting, so is this great speech...
